Has everything you'll reasonably need to open a sealed computer. Caution, before you invest in a kit to help you upgrade a laptop, make sure that your device does NOT have soldered-in-place, non-upgradeable memory.

A toolkit used to open a laptop to install a SSD

Since she does not use her laptop too often, I did not want to purchase a new laptop for her. With that being said, her laptop ended up being the first computer in our family to have Linux Mine installed as a daily driver. The WD Blue SA510 SATA SSD 1TB ended up being an inexpensive purchase, and installation was very simplistic with the iFixit Essential Electronics Toolkit that I purchased the same day. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

ifixit toolkit

Each tool is so comfortable in the hand and they work together so well for taking things apart and then putting them together again.
