Has all the tools you’ll need for most repairs and replacements, and good quality!

I was away from my home for an extended part of time and away from tools. Needed something to replace some PC parts and this thing was perfect. It’s small, not too expensive and nicely organized. Glad I got it.

A good kit at a good price. I bought it because I needed the smaller Torx bits to get into a laptop to add SDD and memory. The other tools proved invaluable at cracking open the tightly sealed case. Highly recommend.

Works great for when youre working with tech in general, and does come in handy with other stuff too. Magnetic tool tips and the cover is awesome too.

I was surprised by how much i am using this product. I was able to open my PS4, Xbox one S and laptop without difficulty and change the thermal paste. It provides the main screwdriver heads and other tools to open your tech. For the price, I was highly satisfied, However, because I am still a newcomer when it comes to fixing electronics, this product is a good starting place.

Save the hassle and pain in the long run and don't get a cheap kit from Walmart, get a true ifixit. I struggled with a Walmart kit for a long time and this was truly game changing. Has everything you need to deconstruct a phone or any other small device for simple jobs. Everything's magnetic and good quality. If you're going to be using it often I'd suggest going with the Mako kit because the metal build and bearing screwdriver itself is much nicer than the plastic one in this kit. Slightly more full featured too, but both kits are great. Personal preference is suggest the Mako, but there's no reason why this shouldn't be a 5 star product, its great quality and functionality wise!

I have used this a lot more than I thought. It has everything you need to seamlessly open just about anything, without causing permanent damage to the item you're working on. Also, make sure to register it on their website. There are folks using this that post how to videos on the website, so it gives you a plan on how to use it!!!

First time laptop users should use this kit. Its got everything you need. I worried it wouldnt have the screws required for my new laptop but it did. It has a wide variety of screw heads for different occasions. And it has things you can use for nudging, pulling and getting in between those hard to reach places, and the best part, not all tools are made of metal so there's very low chance of them breaking anything important.

Solid set of basic tools for popping apart small pc's and laptops wherein you have to deal with plastic parts that are snapped together with unknown, often unseen folds, wrinkles and creases. There are NO guarantees you will not crack something in this adventure, but you will have a much better chance of doing a teardown successfully than you will have using a screwdriver out of the garage or your handy, all-purpose putty knife. Plus, most of the bits you need for actually removing screws with never-before-seen little-tiny itty-bitty torx heads are provided.

Ifixit is really easy to use , the pieces are high quality and don’t break so easily.

Allowed me to safely take the screen off so i could get at my broken sim cartridge to remove my MicroSD card. Until now all day long i was not able to remove it due to the cartridge that contains the memory card having a broken side to it forcing it to be jammed when attempting to pull it out. The instructions were clear for handling of the tools and I quickly solved my issue as a result. But this purchase was perfect! I hope to continue to get more value out of this quick purchase in the future! Already i got everything i wanted. Essential is a very accurate product name.

The kit is great to have around the house. It’s useful in mini situation from computers to glasses or anything that requires smaller tools works fantastic.

I decided to purchase this tool kit by IFIXIT and it’s my favorite at the moment. It’s great for working on a PC or Gaming console. It has all the right fittings for small screws etc. last but not least, I love the bladed tool they included. It’s perfect for opening packages. If you’re like me and you order parts over the internet, you’ll love the tool with the blade on it. It’s sharper than a letter opener while being safe. All the tools fit snug in their case with a magnetic lid.
