My MacBook had stopped working and the screen was just constantly black for months. The Apple Store told me it would cost at minimum 400 dollars to fix IF they could fix it. This kit had the few screwdrivers we needed and step by step guide on their website on how to fix it. We were able to fix it in 20 minutes. The kit saved me from buying a new laptop or spending hundreds of dollars on repairs.

I love iFixit. I have been a fan of their tools for years, but am very happy that Best Buy now carries them. High quality tools especially if you are a tinkerer or electronics tech. I have the Manta, Essentials, and a Pro Tech toolkit, along with some other tools they do not sell at Best Buy. I buy them for all of my friends as gifts. Great products with outstanding support and warranty options.

Everything I need in one kit, well made. It's a vast improvement over the original kits design with the smooth driver with rubber O rings that slipped off the driver. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars "and this is a suggestion on improvement." Emboss, print, or stamp the bit identification in white or neon safety colors on a black background this would make grabbing the right bit at a glance far easier. Other than that minute detail an overall great kit that has everything for basic to intermediate repairs.

Excellent kit for fixing a broken screen. Whether it be a tablet, phone, or handheld gaming device; this kit will get the job finished. Very well organized and easy to use. Strong magnetic grip so you won't lose you heads to your screwdriver. A device fixers paradise!

Excellent product that has most of not all the tools you need for electronics repairs at home. The hits are high quality as is the driver. The magnetic driver is also a great help when trying to get screws into our out of small recesses. iFixit also has guides for many repair products on their website and are a big proponent of right to repair.

Wouldn’t build or work on anything electronic without it! This kit is my go to for everything from pc building to guitar and guitar amp and pedal repair/modifications. I keep one on my work desk and one in my backpack so I’m never without an ifixit kit in my aerosol.

THE must have kit for computer tear downs and builds. Quality tools and bits that are indispensable to me. I've had my kit for a couple of years and purchased this one as a Christmas present for my son who was super excited to receive it. He's an enthusiast too so I deemed it necessary for him to have his own set. The driver has a pretty strong magnet for bit retention and comes in handy when pulling screws or replcing them. Highly recommend over ANY competitors offerings.

The value for the amount of things you get is just insane. If you’re buying these for a hobby you have, then you know you can always rely on it with its build quality. Plus the website has so many tutorials and easy access to parts its wonderful. I’m definitely buying from ifixit again and recommending them.

Excellent value of tools for all things tech. Use this daily for computer as well as around the house. The multiple bits have been extremely valuable when it comes to repair of computers, cell phones, or really anything. The only con is the small size of the actual driver, I would have liked a slightly larger handle since I have larger hands.

Bought this kit because I frequently watch ifixit on YouTube and my precision driver set wasnt as robust as this one. So i decided to gove it a go. Love what the set includes. Did a switch joycon shell swap with the kit. Definitely recommend it. Although i wish the magnetic screw mat was included lol i thought it was but oh well. Still love the set

Worked good for removing the dash trim of my car for a stereo upgrade. Like 12 separate pieces had to be popped off. Anyway, that’s all I used it for. Only reviewed this for the $400 gift card opportunity

AS the title says, if you do build PC I would recommend the Manta Driver kit (hopefully someday best buy will carry it), less the spudger and other prying stuff. But overall good all around kit to have. Quality of the product is way better than some of those a ma zo n products, Linus has some review on this I believe. Also a bit pricey.
