This toolkit will assist you in opening the toughest repairable device. There are many tools and steel screwdriver bits to choose from. Unfortunately, one of my tools already broke within a couple of weeks of using this toolkit. It was the reverse nylon tweezers. (tip broke) I believe it was defective because I did not put a lot of pressure on the tool but yet it broke. All I was doing was taking out a small broken piece of lightning cable that was stuck inside an iPad charging port. Besides the faulty tool, this kit will do it all. I hope iFixit replaces the tips on the tool because I seriously do believe in their products and am all for repairability.

This tool set works perfectly for my hubby. He asked for this as a Father’s Day gift and so far he’s used the tools to take apart his Xbox and clean it. Also he used it to fix our son’s beyblade toy. It’s very convenient having all the various tools in one case/pouch.

I used to just use a cheap little repair kit for my electronics. It got me by and I didn't think it was too bad, until I lost it and got this kit. Very strong difference in quality, and definitely worth the upgrade.

Was able to pop open my gaming laptop to add storage without scratching anything. Made things a whole lot easier, quicker & safer than prior to having. Scratched my previous HP from using traditional tools from my toolbox. Magnetic work pad is very handy. Researched several types & brands & glad I decided on this. This compact kit has everything I need when it comes to working on today’s electronics. Already used to do upgrades on my kids’ laptops too so well worth the money. Almost feel like looking for other electronics to open & upgrade since it’s just that much easier - ALMOST...

This is a really great toolset. Its got every bit i could possibly need as well as various tweezers, spatulas, suction, etc to cover any need I might come across. The build quality is excellent. The driver and bits are all high quality steel and fit comfortably in my hand. The case is really well laid out and doubles as a storage for screws while I work. Overall a highly recommended product well worth the cost!

This is an absolutely amazing repair/toolkit. I run a small computer business and I have been using conventional tools for awhile now. However, getting this kit was by far my favorite investment for tools! Excellent kit to start PC building with. Definitely made my life easier. Would recommend the $75 kit that includes everything as opposed to purchasing everything separately. Though you could get by with just the screwdriver set.

This is definitely a handy thing to have! I've used it to install a couple of things on my laptop. It has just about anything you need for computer work.

Great quality product! Comes with everything you’d need for your DIY electronic projects! Everything is neatly organized and easily folded up and compact enough to store in your drawer or if you want to keep it readily accessible on your desk/work space, it doesn’t take up much room.

After one year of use, this thing is used for multiple things around the house. Most obviously its used when we upgrade parts on the computers, but its also helped us with smaller household items that needed a tool

I work in IT doing all sorts of jobs. So far i havent come across something that this kit doesnt already have a tool for, and comes in a convenient, compact kit.

While I don't encourage voiding your warranty. IFixIt made a great toolkit. While the number of bits is overkill for what was my use case needing to fix an old macbook. This toolset is awesome in its labeling and layout. I loved using the plastic case cover with grooves in it to hold all the screws in the order they were removed all separated neatly. This toolset is perfect for opening up and changing the battery and or hard drive on older out of warranty MacBooks. Only way this kit could be better is if the driver was ESD however wearing the wrist strap makes up for this. Also if it had a paper doc or qr code map of all the bits and a top and side profile of each bit. With size, type, common use, and count of points. Buy this kit for your next repair project instead of running around trying to find an inferior electronics repair tool kit from a home or super store.

Haven’t run into an Apple product (or otherwise) that I haven’t been able to open up and work on yet. Works for all my iPhones, iPads, MacBook pros (2013, 3015, 2017), and the couple of Windows laptops I’ve got (HP and Lenovo). Has a ton of bits and even some I’ve never seen before. It says on the packaging that it can be used for working on appliances in addition to electronic devices but I don’t really have a use case for that - maybe that will change if I decide to get more into the IoT world. The price seems steep until you start looking at smaller toolkits and then you realize it’s actually a great value. Glad I purchased and will likely get use out of it for many years to come as long as I stay organized and don’t lose the pieces. Definitely recommend.
