It’s a nice set of tools that has proven really useful for opening all sorts of electronics (old iPods, laptops, and more) but I thought it was kind of pricey. After buying it I realized that it was a decent value anyways. Would recommend to anyone who occasionally works on (especially smaller) electronics.

Got this for a crazy great deal. It's not just for PCs but really for anything remotely small (watches, etc) and might have an oddball screw youve never had to deal with, its all there.

i ALREADY HAVE MY SURFACE PRO 4 SCREEN REMOVED AFTER i DROPPED IT AND CRACKED THE GLASS.... tHAT JOB IS A PROCESS, THEY WERENT LYING ON ifixit'S SITE. WHICH HAPPENS TO HAVE PERFECTLY GUIDED STEPS TO FIX ALMOST ANY OF TODAYS SMALLER AND SMALLER TECH. NOT ONLY THAT, THEY NORMALLY HAVE ALL THE PARTS AVALIBLE TO SHIP ALL RIGHT THERE. i REMOVED ITS BAT. AS WELL (NOT FUN EITHER). tHE SCREEN DOES'NT JUST HAVE ANY EASY WAY OFF SO THE BAT. WAS AGING SO i DESIDED NOWS THE TIME TO DO IT IF IM INVEST IN THE SCREEN ALREADY. NOW MY MACBOOK AIR HAS BEEN BATTERARY DEAD FOR A COUPLE YEARS PUT AWAY IN A CLOSET THAT WITHOUT IFIXIT PROBABLALY WASNT GOING TO MOVE TILL THE DAY IT FOUND THE TRASHCAN.... nOW THIS BATTERY SWAP IS SO EASY A KID COULD DO IT.

Awesome little kit great for electric guns and all small repairs.

I wanted dedicated tool kit that covered all the bases for maintaining and repairing my electronics, instead of the wonky, disorganized mish mosh of various tools that kinda work. This kit more than carries the weight. The bits have a nice place to live, yet can be easily retrievable with unnecessary wrestling, like some hardware store bits kits. The lid for the bits doubles as a sectored off screw organizer, so you can reenact that one scene from the tomb raider movie if you want (the old one). Forgive my French, but Mise en Place! If you like to contribute to the pensions of geeks squad members, move along... If you have a need or itch to fix that old controller, or swap a graphics card, this is the ticket!

This toolkit had everything we needed to do the job and then some. It made it much easier, faster and saved us a bundle on having my fiance's laptop serviced. Since he already knew exactly what to do to fix his laptop's issue and all we lacked was the proper tools to get the job done, this was a great investment for us. It paid for itself on the first repair. Highly recommend. In his words, "it's an awesome little tool set and well worth what we spent." When we visited the store to find a tool set to buy, this was the most recommended by the guy who helped us. I'm sorry, I don't recall his name but thank you so much. You were a life saver. Very happy customers here.

What a great little toolkit for those tiny projects. I use this kit at least once a week and I’m not even much of a tinkerer. Quality build and versatile tools.

Literally everything you need for the delicate repairs or upgrades to electronics (except soldering). I use it more often than I thought I would!

If i didn't have this, I wouldn't have ever become a man. Life would be a much simpler and more satisfying world as a woman if this kit didn't exist. But since it exists, I thought well hell I'm a geeky kinda person and I like to fix-it this-n-that, you know whatever. Here-N-there... him-her... we're all the same deep down aren't we? But once I got my kit home and examined it's insides and really dissected a few things using the fine-point durable metal tips and precision craftsmanship of this kit, I knew right away I was a man. Too bad this kit doesn't include something to soak up joyful tear droplets, because boy did this one capture me at a deep depth previously unfathomed. Today, I am happily a man. Haven't cried since I got it, and my dog is healthy and active, and we play frisbee golf everyday of the week. We can't thank iFixit enough, for getting us back on our feet and out into the world again as men. There's no reason why anyone shoudnt have already purchased this kit. I'd be lost, unhappy, unsatisfied, heartless, cold, emotionless, and mentally unstable had I never purchased this product. Thanks iFixit, you've given me what every man needs in his life... a big, soft on the inside, solid at the core tool that pretty much solves any problem every woman has ever faced. This is the confidence every guy needs to know he can get the job done, and get-it done in a variety of different ways. In fact, I've never been so satisfied with a strap-on like the one this kit. I was so ex-static when my socks rocked on her carpet, and I wasn't ZAPPED like I usually am (often destroying my components leaving me depressed and angry). This was the answer, the pro tech toolkit. Once I knew what was going on, I immediately called Amazon and put an end to the shipment of the off-brand one i found on the optimus prime store, they asked me if it was alright if they could just send me double the amount I paid for the product and keep the product anyway, and i was pretty hesitant at first, but i agreed because no matter what it is, if it says Amazon on it I will agree to it, I don't care. Anyway, but once I got the iFixit it was an acid trip on mushrooms, and let me just say... wow! When i go out to my garage and see my other computer maintnance kit amazon gave me for free and doubled my money on, i literally just puke. I can't stand it I hate myself for ordering that. After I try and smash that kit in rage (god knows I hate that kit), the only way to calm down is by heading upstairs and grabbing my iFixit pro tech kit from the vents under my computer desk (i dont want ANYONE to find it because they'll steal it when I'm asleep), and by the time I unlatch the first fold my heart is already leaking from every hole, just a wonderful kit, my god. If you think that you're going to regret buyin- OMG STOP IT. Dont even think like that, you will become your best you if you buy this it's obvious. It's obvious. It's way obvious. I regret your existence for you if you don't have this kit. that's it. Be a man. Get the kit. Own the tool.

This kit has everything you need. I have a another one as well, not the same brand, and it was missing essential tools. This kit has proven its worth by assisting me with laptop, mobile phone and controller repairs. The controllers have varied from console to VR and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance and usability.

Great price on a great tool kit. I try to grab these when on sale as I will give them as presents or donate older kits that have "lost" tools. You know those magical tools that you loan out, but never quite seem to come back. IFixit is a name I've come to trust.

Quality built, with pretty much every tool a basic tech person would need. A little on the expensive side, but fair given the quality of product

As most reviews say, these are top notch tools. I’ve bought my fair share of tools you grab off the shelf at local home improvement stores but this sets the bar very high. I use these for electronic repairs or occasional housework that require specific bit sizes. You’ll also appreciate the magnetic placeholder for small screws which makes the job more organized. No matter which tip you use, it is all magnetized as well so you won’t be dropping a screw in a hard to reach area.

I really could write a whole book on how good this Ifix it kit is, every part is well made and feels great to the touch. I have gotten the chance to use this on two laptops and two PC builds and I have not found an issue yet! The best part is that it comes with a magnet stick which is awesome for when you drop a screw into the depths of your PC and can't fit your fingers in to just throw this down in the general area it was at and BOOM back in business. Seriously - it is that good. The only upgrade I could imagine would be a battery driver but that is for another day.

I had purchased the iFixit Pro Toolkit primarily because I was looking for the necessary tools to change the hard drive on my PS4 and I was tired of looking for my tools in the garage. I was surprised that Best Buy even carried this particular and I'm glad they did because now I have one "box" that contains all the tools I'll need when it comes to electronics surgery. The only drawback I have is the price but then again, I did purchase the pro version so it couldn't be that cheap. Overall, the build quality seems good and the selection of tools in the pro version is great! I highly recommend checking out this toolkit if you're looking for those specific tools when working on your electronics!
