2nd kit i have bought from ifixit. First kit lost some pieces over the 5 years i have had it and it was time for a new one. I used this kit all day every day for 5 years working on comouters and nothing else comes close to the layout and variety this kit offers. Ill biy it every time i need to replace it and the bits last forever.

As a smart phone, Console and Computer repair man this set is great a bit pricy but you pay for what you get....i have 2 i fix it kits one that's just the screw driver set and the other with the extras included 10/10 would highly recommend

I bought this set to help my nephew make some repairs to his 3D printer. It was perfect for that job, but it’s come in handy for a lot of other small electronic troubleshooting.

He’s a computer geek and is constantly upgrading, fixing and adding parts. He loves his ifixit kit. It’s very compact and has every single tool he can possibly need to do the job.

Absolutely love the company. I already have the tool kit by itself and I still bought this to carry with me everywhere. Every part is high quality and the company themselves makes great progress towards self repair for the products we own.

To sum it up this kit is awsome. I was jist going to buy the bit kit, but decided i would purchase this set because it came with a good assortment of tools and a carrying case. I have used everything in this set and have had no issues. Sure, there are cheaper bit sets out there, but they come no where near the quality of this set while still having a pretty broad set of bits. The amount of time i saved by having all of my electronic tools in an organized spot has made this purchase already pay for itself.

Perfect, I love it. This was bought because I work with computers, this made cleaning my PC easy

No complaints here. This thing is absolutely amazing. Had my eye on one for awhile and decided to finally pull the trigger. Bit pricey but in the end worth it.

This set is a bit pricey, but it holds pretty much everything I need. I use it to service my laptops, computers, and gamecube controllers.

This kit has always come in handy, whether for work as an A/V integrator or for computer maintenance at home.

As an IT specialist, this kit has come in handy many times. It is well constructed and has held up well to periodic use.

I purchased this kit so that I can replace my screen on my Samsung phone. It made the job very easy because it had everything that you needed to open up a smartphone and many other electronic devices. Also a BIG BIG please is that the tips are magnetic which helps to prevent from losing those very very small screws

I love this repair kit. The usefulness of every piece from the tray sorter to the roll up storage is awesome. All my repairs have gone so much smoother.

These tools are just as high quality as i was expecitng. Love the kit. I was using some cheap ones on amazon that did the job but didnt have as strong as magnets so my screws were fallong off the exge having the additional spudgers and plastic pry tools really makes a difference and has been way easier than the guitar picks i was using. If you are opening electronics these are a must.

The toolkit itself is absolutely excellent. I've had to make a few small repairs to my personal devices (both Windows laptops and Macbooks) and this toolkit has so far had all the tools I required to do the job with minimal issues. I'm impressed at how many bits and screws they've accounted for and their prying devices actually have helped with tough-to-remove parts that would otherwise have broken a fingernail or two. 10/10 would buy again, though I don't anticipate I'll need to outside of losing the kit or the items inside.

This kit truly has everything I need. Disclaimer that I don’t do a ton of electronics repairs and don’t necessarily have a ton of experience. But I’ve swapped out a few components in my laptop here and there and have replace the joystick for a friend’s Nintendo Switch joy con after some severe drift emerged. I like to be prepared and I haven’t felt like I needed to buy anything else that this lit doesnt include. Also, if you check out the company’s website they have a pretty big library of repair guides that I have found incredibly useful!

I previously had the smaller starter toolkit from ifixit before upgrading to this one. The difference is night and day. This toolkit comes with stronger higher quality bits and a metal driving handle that rotatoea more smoothly than the cheaper plastic one. Ive done only a few repairs since buying this one but it has had everything ive needed so far

Been seeing tech YouTuber with sponsorships proclaiming how great and useful they are picked mine up and repaired my Xbox controller. I have minor skills in electronics repair but they give me the confidence to try harder repairs would’ve been useful for trying to repair my mothers laptop a while back. it’s like they a mechanic is nothing without good tools lol
