I had an upright freezer and wasn't sure about a chest freezer but this one stores just as well. Bought some crates to compartmentalize items.

This has been a good freezer for our family. Has lots of room for a family of 4, and will hold at least 2 processed deer.

Bought it a year ago and it is still running well. Took a chance on Igloo brand and hey it is working out for us!

Replaced my 5.0 and this one was bigger then we had expected :) I am enjoying it every day and still trying to fill it up :)

Great price for the size. Interior dents easily if you drop any large piece of meat into it.

It is a good freezer it would be better when there is a light built in side

Once the unit was finally delivered, my wife and I were very satisfied with the purchase.

I am very disappointed with the condition of the product. I am not sure if it has to do with the product itself or the delivery to the store. We traveled over an hour to pick up this freezer. When we got home and unloaded it there was a large crack all the way down the inside of the lid. I would recommend looking over the product before taking it home. Ours was shrink wrapped to travel so we didn't look at it until we made it home.

Love the size- it fits up to 2 plastic milk crates in it for organization of items, plus the basket it already comes with. Runs very quiet, I store a ton of jars of broth, vegetables and meat in this freezer. Used for a family of 2.

Not sure if they carry this model anymore but ours only made it 3 years before breaking. Very disappointing.

VERY CHEAPLY MADE NOT EVEN WORTH IT IF IT WAS FREE

I received my freezer today! It is 100% ready to go out of the box. Outside dimensions are 43" Wide, 32.5" Tall, and 24.5" Deep. Inside dimensions are 37" Wide, 26.5" Tall, and 18.5" Deep. I am very happy with this purchase. The freezer is not heavy and can be moved around easily on a concrete floor. Door is spring loaded so it is easy to open and stays open until you decide to close it. Red and green indicator lights show that power is on, and if the compressor is running or not. The freezer runs very quiet. Very spacious inside, looks to have enough room for a 1/4 or 1/2 beef order. Great freezer at a great price if you ask me.

Living in Florida I had some reservations about a freezer at this price point. The only good place to put the freezer was the garage, many chest freezers operating temperature topped out at 90ºF, the operating manual for this model claims 120ºF as a max operating temperature. We've already had a few 90º days here in Florida and the freezer has been doing fine in the garage which I'm sure is over 90º. One note: I have not found this to be the fault of the freezer as I had a battery charger in the outlet at the same time, but the GFI did trip once. Luckily I caught it before the food had begun to thaw; it is probably worth it to be sure to have a circuit which can handle the power draw, especially in warmer environments. Since removing the battery charger I have not experienced another GFI break.

I had 5' compact chest freezer that died so needed a new one. I was going to get the slightly larger 7' but then saw this one. Even though it is 10' it really doesn't take up that much more space than a 7' - but holds a ton more food. Love it.

Freezer runs very quite and keeps things... frozen. Very spacious and clean.

This is a great size freezer and runs super quiet. We like the two lights to let you know you have power and the compressor is running. One complaint, for this size freezer, there is one tiny wire basket, with no option to purchase more. It is very difficult to stay organized with only one basket.

Works great - does not autodefrost but has a drain - so plan accordingly.

The compressor died after less than 16 months. When I called the Company warranty line, they said 'the warranty is only 1 year; you should have bought an extended warranty." When I asked if it was common for a unit to die after 16 months of normal use, 'I was told it happens. That's why we warranty for one year.' There was a complete indifference on the part of Igloo to stand behind their product.

In the month that I have had this freezer I have twice opened it (after one and four weeks of use) to find its contents thawed. I purchased this freezer to store breast milk which cannot easily be replaced. I am DEVASTATED, again! DO NOT BUY this freezer! What a waste of money!
