As good a deal as it gets.

I got this on sale for only $200. Great deal. Just about any fridge at this price has on of those tiny "freezer" compartments in the same compartment of the refrigerator (when takes forever to freeze even small amounts of ice, but halfway freezes everything else...or lets it get too warm). This one has a separate freezer compartment, and will freeze a good amount of ice (which I take out of the trays and put into a big container)...and still have room for a few full size pizzas, 4 lbs of wings, and some frozen vegetables. It's not a big freezer, but WAY better than anything else in the price range. The refrigerator should have plenty of room for 1 person (easily), or maybe two. It has five shelves, which are all easily adjusted; there are MANY evenly spaces slots that the shelves slide into, so you can adjust any of the shelves only a little higher or lower (or a lot)...very flexible, and simple. Since it's not frost-free (hey, wutch'ya want for $200?), it does get some condensation and ice on the back wall of the fridge area. About once a month, I blow a hair dryer on it for a minute, and I can usually peel off the ice by hand that doesn't fall off right away. Takes about 4 minutes...tops. Note: IF YOU HAUL THIS HOME YOURSELF...TAKE NOTE! If you must tilt the fridge, or put it on it's side, even briefly, WAIT 24 HOURS BEFORE PLUGGING IT IN! The reason: When titled, the oil from the lubrication reservoir leaks into the coolant: If you turn it on right away, the fluids mix together, this really messes up your fridge. If you wait a good 24 hours after standing the fridge back up, all of the oil will be drained back into the reservoir where it belongs (and then everything is fine)Some people say to wait 12 hours before plugging in....but I highly recommend waiting the full 24 hours. This will save you a lot of grief and disappointment. Lastly, this is a nice in-between size unit, which is hard to find. I would have been satisfied if it was $300 (which is about $100 more than I had when I got this.) So, thumbs up all the way!)

Got this as a beverage fridge in the garage, as there are no restrictive operating temperature limits in the manual (lots of fridges say do not use in ambient temps below 50, which is worthless for most garages). The tall/skinny form factor is different than most other fridges around this size +/- 10cuft, and to me is much preferable than the short/fat fridges. Storage space is maximized by being mostly rectangular inside, without the odd-shaped protrusions or other obstacles in most other fridges. Door shelves are a bit shallow for taller items (like bottles) but is fine as long as the door isn't yanked open. I've had trouble dialing in the temperature to be cold enough in the fridge without being too cold in the freezer. Ice formed immediately inside the backwall of the fridge and a little frost is growing inside the freezer, but I chalk that up to the hot/humid garage & weather here in the south east. Motor is a bit noisy, which is a non-factor for me in a garage but may be inside a house/apt. The model I inspected in the store was not plugged in. But if you need a very inexpensive fridge to maximize a small space, I would recommend this Igloo.

Great narrow refrigerator for tight spaces.

Can't beat the price. I was looking for a narrow and tall unit to replace an older Fridgidaire, went to Home Depot, Sears, Friedman's Appliance, Airport Appliance, Best Buy and Fry's. After eliminating the units available that did not fit the space in my small kitchenette, I had a choice between a Daewoo at Fry's or the Igloo from Best Buy. The Igloo was way cheaper and a tad narrower, so I bought the Igloo with an extended warranty (to make myself feel better in case it was too good to be true about the price). Happy with the purchase. It is quiet but it does have condensation inside the fridge and no door storage in the freezer. Freezer space is also very meager. I did have to change my wall outlet for a recessed one to make sure that the unit fit with enough clearance. I bought a 2 gang recessed outlet on Amazon - works perfectly.

    Great as a second frig

Bought this as a second frig to hold beverages, excess grocery items; set up in basement. Really like the size - it's tall and slim and holds a lot more than a "dorm-style frig" but has a smaller footprint than a standard frig. It took several days to get to a safe frig temperature, but once it did, it's held its temperature well. The in-door storage will only hold light weight items but can handle cheeses, pouch drinks, etc. And although we didn't need the freezer compartment, we've put this to good use as well. Got it on sale for $199 and because it's Energy Star, is eligible for local power company $100 rebate - can't beat that price!

Good 2nd or beach house fridge

I got this fridge for my trailer at the beach. I needed one that fit in a small area. I only bring food I plan on using and typically only keep drinks in it when I am not there. The freezer gets very cold fast, the fridge part takes about 12-24 hours to get the the temp you want. It uses gravity to get the refrigerator part cold unlike more expensive ones that force the cold air down. I got this one on sale for a great price here at Best Buy. If you want a inexpensive refrigerator for a garage or vacation place this is perfect.

Nice size to have to put sodas, beer, wine, water bottle, sports drinks, etc in to keep the main refrigerator freed up for its main purpose. Has a temperature control dial which is very good. Excellent back up for when you're having a get together and need more refrigeration. I see this being an asset around the holidays when you need to store more refrigerated goods. The compressor runs a little loud. The unit is inside, but still has a minor amount of condensation in both the refrig and freezer areas. For $200, not a bad back up for when you need to keep some additional things refrigerated.

No Frills, Freezer Fridge Perfect for Studios

I bought this fridge to replace a similar sized old one whose plastic ring was warped and caused the fridge doors to not close. This Igloo is of good build quality and affordable for a no frills basic freezer fridge setup in a small studio space. It's not the college dorm super small size fridge but is about 3.5 times that size as far as space. Freezer can't fit full size pizza boxes but medium is good. Great for studios, but if you're in anything larger plan to buy a bigger fridge! It delivered quickly within 3 days but I wished it came in Black!

The delivery and setup was great. These guys wheeled the fridge from the van all the way to the houseboat, and then went the extra mile and installed it for me. They also took away the old one. Awesome. The fridge works great and is a little bigger than the old one it replaced, but it's a bit noisier too. Not too terrible, but I notice it because I use the houseboat to write and when it is quiet outside, It can get a little distracting. Still, it's definitely worth the sale price and it was much cheaper than fixing the old one. Best Buy rocks!!!

Works well overall but likes to collect ice inside

We got this refrigerator because we didn't want to take up a lot of space in our addition. It has ample space for extra food. It has a tendency to collect ice on the back wall of the refrigerator though. The directions say to just remove all your items and periodically defrost it. You shouldn't have to do that with your refrigerator though. We initially thought it was because we had is set to too low a temp, but it still is collecting ice. I need to defrost it and try again to see if it goes away.

Not a bad little fridge the only problem I have had so far is one that other consumers have posted about the freezing on the back wall of the fridge I have tried to lower the temperature to no avail it still stays frozen. It doesn't hamper the performance of the unit it just looks funny when you look inside. Other then that happening its perfect I use it for a replacement work refrigerator so it really only holds coke and water so it has plenty of space.

I did a lot of research to find the right fridge that would work with my small space but have the felling of a normal size fridge. I like the sleek design. The shelves are well design since you can arrange them to your needs. It makes a buzzing sound but not bad at all considering the great prize.... Having to have to melt the ice when it builds up is a bit of a pain but this is a great fridge for temporary use so is fine.

It's the perfect refrigerator to use in the family room. It's perfect to store extra sodas, water, melons or just about any items that require refrigeration that will not fit in the main upstairs refrigerator. The freezer, although small, fits ice cream containers and other frozen desserts. The only downside is that everything on the inside is made of plastic that doesn't look too durable. However, the price was right and fit my budget.

Great "beverage" fridge for the garage

I was looking for a smaller profile fridge to house all of our canned and bottled beverages. At the price point, this fridge is a perfect fit for the garage. It isn't feature-rich by any means, but it serves the purpose I have for it nicely. The only negative I had was getting it leveled well. the bottom "feet" aren't exactly of the highest quality. Good affordable fridge.

This is a pretty good refrigerator for secondary use. I use it in my garage to store water and juice and milk. It is very small inside and the doors will not fit a milk or juice container. However, each shelf has a bit of room to store refrigerated products if they are placed horizontally. The freezer is very small. The refrigerator makes above average noise while running. At $200, I didn't expect a whole lot more. OK for the money.

Within a week of purchse the compressor stopped working. Exchanged at the store. Been working good since. I added a two year warranty just in case. They do not repair these models only replace. It is the perfect size to store just about anything. Much better value than a mini-fridge. Like other reveiwers had stated it is best not ot over fill it. Make sure it is sitting level too. We will see how it does in the warmer months ahead.

For the price I paid, this product is excellent. The small size is great for my garage, which is used as my 2nd fridge for drinks & ice. It has plenty of storage for what I need since I wanted a small fridge that the typical size. The only negative I have is that I can't figure out why water comes out from bottom some times. This is not that big a deal to me since it's in my garage, but it is a bit annoying.

We live on a boat and the fridge that came with the boat was outdated, loud, and an energy hog. My boyfriend and I fell in love with the side trays and shelves in the refrigerator and the two shelves in the freezer. There is a bit of condensation that stays at the back of the fridge and the freezer has to be defrosted manually. A fridge pack of soda pop will not fit, but everything else we have put into the fridge will fit.

I saw the advertisement in a Sunday newspaper circular, wanted to check it out to see if we could utilize the refrigerator on our lanai. it fit perfectly, better than our son's tiny refrigerator from college. We have 2 cases of soda, a draw full of produce, a door full of health drinks, bottle of champagne, 2 trays of food. Having a side by side main refrigerator limits your shelf space. This was a gift from above.

Wanted a larger refrigerator instead of another 4 c.f model. This one takes up about the same floor space but is much taller. Nice that I didn't have to move things around to get it to fit between some shelves. You can find other models that have frost free, but not at this price. It was hard to find a small bigger refrigerator under $350 on sale this one was much less than that.

I read serveral revies befor buying this particular fridge. We wanted it for our back porch for parties. It is true what others say - ice does form on the back of hte fridge. I was able to fit a lot in this fridge for the size and I liked how if I kept beverages towards the back of the fridge by the forming ice they were extra cold. I would definetely buy this fridge again.
