Dent discovered after unpack. Was given $15 mark-off because of dent. I unpacked it and discarded box before setting it up so I never saw the dent until too late. Will be more careful the next time before unpacking. So far freezer has performed well. Just the right size.

This ice chest is a great product for the money. I have had zero problems with it. It runs great, and you can keep it on a lower setting without worrying if your frozen items will thaw. Great product!!

I purchased this deep freezer and as I opened the box and plugged it in it started freezing up within the first 10 minutes. Very powerful

Very quiet and efficient. Takes up little space but has all the storage I needed. It works very well in a corner of the kitchen but the manual did warn it was not intended for garage, outside or other non cooled areas. That said, it has kept all my stuff frozen at the recommended setting with no issues now for a couple months. So quiet I have to look at the light to even know it is running. Great unit for those of us that just need a little extra freezer storage in the kitchen and not a huge freezer in the garage

So I didn't shop around for a freezer, nor did I read reviews. I had an older freezer that died & I needed a replacement fast, or I'd lose more than $500 worth of food. I have a Best Buy card, I had a $5 GC, it was on sale and a store near me had one in stock for me to pick up within an hour. That was my decision making. But I will say, this one runs better than my old one. Its more efficient, super quiet, makes great use of space and lets me know if its just maintaining or actually kicked on to take it back to the expected temperature. You won't have buyer's remorse with this one, nor working with Best Buy.

I've only had this freezer for about a week but I'm impressed with the quietness. I wouldn't even know it's running if it wasn't for the indicator light on the front. The size of this freezer is perfect for our basement and lightweight enough that it was easy to maneuver down the steps. Works great. My side-by-side fridge/freezer is too small to even hold a frozen pizza. This will allow us to buy the larger sized items that don't fit in our regular freezer and to buy items in bulk that we use a lot. I would definitely recommend this freezer.

I bought this because my refrigerator/freezer just didn't have enough space for my frozen items. Set up was easy; I had it working within 5 minutes. It is a great size for my household. It runs quietly and works well.

Excellent size, cools fast- has lots of space. Now I can buy in bulk and not have to worry going back to store everyweek. Easy to set up. Gets no frost buildup. I quite deep and is easy to reach into.

I bought the Igloo - 5.1 Cu. Ft. Chest a couple of months ago after moving. My refrigerator is the split kind and I needed more storage. This chest freezer has a small footprint and will fit just about anywhere. The shipping box is small enough I was able to fit in the back of my SUV without issue. There are two lights on the bottom right of the freezer to let you know it has power and when the compressor is running. The adjustable thermostat dial is nice and it appears some people even use these in refrigerator mode as a kegerator. I would recommend this chest freezer to any small family that needs just a little more space than their refrigerator freezer can offer.

...I really like it! I ordered one online and went to pick it up one month ago. Mine was not dented anywhere and in great shape. I plugged it and a couple of hours later began to fill it with food and ice trays. We desperately needed more freezer and this Igloo chest deal came about during my two-month search. I just wasn't sure what to get and what might be good, and then Best Buy offered this deal on the Igloo. I feel I can trust Best Buy on a return if the chest wasn't as good as I'd hoped, so I purchased it. The Igloo is serving us very well and working just fine, and we are very satisfied. It's just the right size for our family of four and doesn't take up a lot of space. Honestly, the pricing was dictating my purchase, and this was on sale! Since mine is now exactly one month old, I will update my review or write another review only if anything unusual is worth reporting. We are so pleased with this unit, its size and the pricing. I really appreciated the sale pricing, but the original price is actually pretty decent, too. I found youtube video's from other's showing their Igloo ice chest and how to defrost it, so that is refreshing to be able to see other's who've had their Igloo's longer and to watch their how to defrost adventures!

This freezer is the perfect size for us. I'm able to store items that would never fit in my top freezer. I couldn't even fit my ice cube trays in there most of the time. I have noticed a little bit of frost starting to build up in the back left corner but not too bad. Works great!

If this freezer keeps working, I love it! I love the great price with free pick-up if shipped to Best Buy, and I love the appearance of the unit with no dents on mine! I love the red running light with an additional green light that indicates when the compressor is running. I love the fact that it reaches operating temperature below zero in less than two hours. Five generous cubic feet of freezing storage with a reasonably low electricity consumption. I'm tech, so measured a current surge (label said 12A) on start-up, and .64 running amps. 70 watts. (label said .9A) Quiet enough. Compressor typically runs for 2 minutes 45 seconds and then stays off for 7 or 8 minutes. Repeats this 24/7 after up to temperature.

Holds more than enough for two people. It's very quiet and maintains a good temperature. Reviews about the warranty are correct. Unless you buy the Geek Squad warranty, you have to ship it off for replacement. We decided to take a chance since we got a good deal on an open box item. One of the hinge covers broke while we were unpacking it so it's not very well made.

Wanted a small freezer for our son & daughter-in-law that would allow them to occasionally buy larger quantities when items are on sale - without losing the savings to higher electricity bills. This fit the bill perfectly! The unit has a relatively small footprint yet stores a surprising amount of food. And, from what we've been told, the electricity bill hasn't increased. Son has the unit in his man-cave and says that if it wasn't for the power light he wouldn't know that it's there.

The unit is very quite and energy efficient. The unit works perfect. Also the unit is lighter than expected making it easy to move around. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a chest freezer. Bestbuy delivery was on time and very polite.

Fulfilled all expectations. Use for auxiliary freezer food storage. Allows us to buy more economical bulk frozen items without burdening the refrigerator freezer. Since it freezes things to a lower temperature, we can store some items much longer. Clean design. Extremely quiet. Low power use.

I needed a new small freezer to replace my old energy-guzzling one. I wasn't sure about getting a chest freezer (my previous one was upright), but it is quite roomy for a small compact freezer and pretty easy to get to all my items. It is energy star, which many are not, and the price was right. It's also very quiet.

Just right for a two person household. Holds all the stuff I had to pass on because my kitchen freezer is too small. Light enough for me to carry down stairs and fits in a Ford Focus wagon with seats down.

The freezer is lightweight, has been running for a week with no problems. It's a basic freezer, I wish it was a slightly bit larger since it's nearly half full at the moment with veg's from the garden. It runs quiet in the basement.
