I bought this freezer to put in my garage so I can store raw frozen beef for my dog. It was on sale online so I wanted to take advantage of the sale and not fill up my freezer in the kitchen. The size was perfect. I was still able to fit both cars in my garage.

I don't hunt and don't buy half cows. I do buy in bulk from my local farmer, and need extra space beyond my fridge-freezer. This is perfect for my garage and is cheaper to run than the unit that died!

This freezer works great. The only complaint is the shelf takes up room. I keep the freezer in the garage and it keep the temperature right on.

This is a replacement . It works great and the last one was at least 10 years old before it died. Excellent ! I didn't expect it to last half as long!

Never owned a freezer chest before. Works great, sturdy, perfect size for a family of 4, very quiet. Love it!

I love that this freezer has an On light AND a Run light to let me know that it's working. I've been wanting a freezer for a while and thought that we'd need a bigger freezer, but this freezer has a LOT of space. We stock up on meat when it's on sale and we still have yet to fill it halfway. I love the built-in ledge and the basket - it helps with organization or to find things faster. The freezer started frosting around 15 minutes after plugging it in which was a great reassurance for us. We opted for the warranty and the geek squad protection because most freezers we've reviewed didn't seem 100% fail safe. The price of the unit itself was unbelievable! We ended up paying about full price with the added warranty/protection plan, otherwise the pricing was way beyond better than expected. I hope to have this freezer for a long time.

It is quite and working so good It holds a lot of food

Over the years, we have been managing frozen items in our side-by-side by shuffling and stacking. I finally broke down and got this little chest and it helped out a lot. I now I can get some elbow room. We are a family of 4 and having quick access to frozen treats is a must around little kids. Just hope this freezer will last.

This freezer fits well within my rather small apartment with out taking up too much room. My apartment refrigerator had a very tiny freezer and I was having problems fitting everything I needed in it. The freezer is attractive and compact.

Purchased an Igloo chest Freezer FRF520, luckily enough with a 3 year extended warranty (hopefully that's good for something#. The box it came in was in excellent shape, no dents or dings. Styrofoam ALL in one piece, with no breakage. Unfortunately after removing the box, the freezer had been damaged #mushroomed corner# #manufacturers defect# by its front lower right hand corner, right by the controls and motor unit. I came up with the idea since my wife and I have health problems, that the best buy delivery truck #which drives up and down my street all day long) can swing by my house to pick up the p.o.s., but, of course, best buy management thought differently though. Thanks best buy. This is my last purchase through your company.

It's a good size for a small family and works good

bought this for extra space and to be able to deep freeze things, haven't had any issues what so ever with it, its quiet and keeps things frozen!

I needed more freezer space to store the meals I make ahead on the weekends to save time during the week. I needed a freezer that did not take up a ton of space as I live in a small apartment. This Igloo Chest Freezer works perfect for me.

I bought this for my mother who lives in a small apartment! She would always call me when she found a good deal on meat but she had no where to store it. This freezer fits perfect in her dining room you almost don't even notice its there.
