This freezer, at first, seemed too big for my needs; however, at the sale price with FREE shipping, it was a no brainer. Cost less than those half the size, still takes up the same (or less!) floor space, but the height adds tons of freezer space for sales on meats, pies, whatever, but I've discovered it's also TALL ENOUGH TO PROVIDE EXTRA COUNTER SPACE!! 8-D I put two large wooden cutting boards on top and doubled my counter space - the top is NOT flat, though, so you must adjust for that. Tons of space inside, hardly a difference on my electric bill, and I've yet to fill it even half way!! Such a great price I got a 3 year addt'l warranty as if these fail, it happens just past manufacturers warranty, according to reviews. Our house needed extra freezer space, but didn't have a lot of room. This provided the needed space we needed along with taking up very little space. We have had it turned on since day one and have zero ice build up which is a pleasant surprise as others have stated that they have had build up. Great unit overall.

We're a small family looking for a basic but reliable unit. It's been plugged in for about a month now and it works as advertised. I'm not looking forward to defrosting the unit, but it shouldn't be too awful as long as we stay on top of it.

Have had almost two months and have had no issues, thankfully. It is a great little freezer for a small family. I mostly use it for extra meats and breast milk storage...perfect for all things tho...as far as consumables go.

Downsized my home drastically and had a huge coffin size freezer and bought this when I moved. It holds more than I thought. Perfect for a small family. No complaints at this time on performance, have only had 2 months.

We've had the freezer a couple of months and it is a good size for storage. I guess it is not frost free, which I thought all freezers would be. There is ice forming along the walls and top.

This chest freezer is just the right size for a small single family. We have it in our basement and keeps food frozen and able to purchase larger quantities and save $

It works great, and is a great deal for the price. I bought it when it was on sale and after rebates from the city and my electric company, the freezer only cost about $50. Keeps things frozen and doesn't frost up much.

This freezer works great! It is exactly what we were looking for in a chest freezer. The first one we picked up was damaged and Best Buy did a great job replacing and delivering a new model. Would definitely recommend!

I've had it for a month now. Great for a small family. I use the freezer for the ground beefs and any kind of meats instead of the fridge's freezer. So far so good!

I bought this for my parents because they were in need of a chest freezer. After looking up various models and sites, I settled on buying this one. I'm not too familiar with cu.ft. but I thought 5.1 Cu.Ft. did not sound too large. It was bigger than I expected, but not so large that it could not fit in my parents van. At night it makes a slight buzzing sound, but it is not too noticeable. For the price, its good quality. They're really happy with it, so I think I made a good choice.

We were looking for an additional freezer to compliment our refrigerator freezer and this freezer is perfect. Not too big, but still has lots of room.

Although small I am 100% happy with my choice. After plugging it in for the first time it reach a perfect freezing temp in such a short. It conveniently fits in a small corner not taking up space.

Went with my mother to buy a new fridge and deep freeze. Found that this was on sale and purchased it. Apart from a few delivery errors, the product came to my house undamaged and it works great.

We purchased this deep freezer for two reasons. First, we replaced our 15 year old side-by-side refrigerator with a french door style and we were concerned about losing even more freezer space. Second, we wanted to purchase meat by the case (which is cheapest) and store in it in a deep freezer. Our deep freezer is in the garage with our freezer top refrigerator. Talk about electricity hogs, but we need it, otherwise I'd be at the store everyday. I have a husband and two boys who consume quite a bit! It is quite model, and offers a basket to store smaller items. So far I've been very satisfied with my purchase.

I saw this online and wasnt quite sure upon seeing it in the box. But when I opened it and saw just how much space it actually had I was surprised. It works perfectly for my small family.

This freezer is awesome for the price! We needed a little extra freezer space and this was perfect. I rated a 4 star because we did receive it damaged but Best Buy worked with us and we were satisfied.
