It seems that buying electronics, even from name brands, doesn’t guarantee longevity. I bought two of these, pretty expensive, and one of them is showing signs. Couldn’t turn on the radio, couldn’t set the time, kept blinking “auto” and “1 hour” and kept going an hour ahead. I unplugged it and took out the back up battery for a date, and still buttons would work. Then after an hour past and me practically pushing the buttons into the case, it let me set the time. Mind you, all I use it for is for time and to charge my phone wirelessly. I use my phone for alarm, not the clock, so not sure why it’s messing up. I don’t use the radio or Bluetooth feature either.

This is a replacement for another older ihome clock radio. I love the fact that I can charge the phone and my Bluetooth at the same time. This has a wireless charging area (an upgrade from my last one) as well as a usb charging port. It sits next to the bed all night which is very handy. Well worth the money.

We appreciate the feedback and understand you feel the description is misleading. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth and play digital radio from any free music app. Many radio stations are no longer streaming analog radio which requires an antenna on the unit.
