I was excited to get this after reading the reviews (which were verified by fakespot..haha). But I could tell as soon as it was out of the box, it was born to disappoint. First, this iBT175 DOES NOT HAVE DISCO FEATURE. Sketchy on the part of both Ihome and Best Buy, and I'm seeing this more and more. For example, the Dyson vacuums used for deal of the day are not the same sold at bed bath beyond (I have learned, model numbers must be referenced and cross-referenced in order to find out if you are really getting a good deal). Second, this thing does not work with the app. I tried it on Android 8.0 and 9.0 and neither works. It just goes into a configuration loop. Third, and most important, that sound is sub-par. I had the old Ihome Airplay speakers (which I really liked) so I was realistic in terms of knowing this was not going to have a Bose, or even UE sound. I would settle for not distorted. When the volume is high (75%), cracks are heard. Anyway, just wanted to pass on my experience. I pity the fool who paid $100.00 for this thing.

While it is listed as a portable Bluetooth speaker, it is fairly large and no easy way to carry it. It does have an internal battery so it is technically portable. Descent sound. It is plenty loud to use at a back yard party for example. The lighting is cool. There are multiple lighting options. I have been unable to get the app to work with it even though it is listed as a supported device. So between the app issue and its size (for being sold as a portable speaker) I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought for a friend and she loves it. It’s unique and sound is very good. It’s not going to blow your ears but it fills a med size room with clear sound. The lights are a nice touch as well. Only issue was android had a little trouble connecting. iPhone connected really quick and easy. Overall it was a good experience.

I bought this because I was looking for a Bluetooth for my iPhone & iPad. I bought my two teens a speaker for Christmas and they wouldn’t share with me. When I saw this baby on clearance and I got to use some Best But point certificates, I knew I couldn’t go wrong. I love the sound and the lighting effects.

I bought this speaker hoping to play music for my dog when I'm out of the house. I had hoped that it also had an option to play the radio as well. I guess I misread the box because it's a bluetooth only type of speaker. It's still a great speaker, I just can't use it when I'm out of the house unless I plan on leaving my phone or other device at home. Sound quality is great, I play music outside when doing yard work and even when I'm a couple yards away, I can still hear the music perfectly. Good quality for the cheap-ish price!

it is a great product and it sounds much better than expected. in fact, even the ease of use was more simple than expected. again, great product.

Love the fact this speaker is portable. Has a good battery life. It sounds very clear no matter the distance.

Have a good sound, not perfect as a headphone but good for a speaker. The lights are fun to have changing with the music.
