Great Bluetooth Speakers

Great for a small room!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My girlfriend ordered this for me online and picked up at our local Best Buy. We have a small system in our kitchen for background music. It's an Insignia mini CD/Receiver. The original speakers were muddy so I replaced them with a pair of Polk Audio T15s. GREAT speakers but lacking bass. She bought this speaker system for me as a gift- WOW, incredible sound! Bass is tight and surprisingly low. Each satellite has two midrange speakers and a tweeter-handles mids and highs just right. Bass is very tight, goes lower than you would expect for a small sub. Overall volume is acceptable but could be just a bit louder- we are using MP3 files @ 160kbps through an iPod fed into the receiver at 60% volume and then connected to these speakers via the headphone jack, Any higher and the bass distorts. Plenty loud enough for background music... Crank it up and it's just loud enough but 10% louder would be better. Blue LEDs make for a good nightlight, one thing I wish it had was a simple remote to turn off and on. Overall VERY happy, especially for the price... Looks cool, sounds good, didn't try Bluetooth but with a direct input the sound is very, very good!

Really nice for price

I also like the sound quality and the blue lights on the front that light up in the dark. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I couldn't set it up for the surround sound to my tv, I need to buy an additional connector. Overall I love it.
