    I am just loving this computer. I do my remote work, and podcast with it. The screen is beautiful, the Magic Mouse and keyboard are well made. If you are going to podcast like myself, be sure to purchase a usb-c adapter. I purchased on that includes usb and hdmi. The color of the machine is excellent. It’s almost more gold than yellow. I like that the keyboard and mouse match, those are NOT the same color as the keyboard and mouse sold separately.

    I was worried the aging M1 chip would make this computer feel slow and underpowered based on how unimpressed I was with my original m1 MacBook Pro 13inch I bought a few years back.. Apple and developers have clearly worked on optimization as all of the original faults I had with my m1 MacBook Pro 13inch don’t seem to be an issue at all on the m1 iMac even with it having more pixels to push around

    Bought this to explore the M1 chip. My first Apple product, I was expecting an exceptional GUI experience regardless of the processor. I find that there is little control over the desktop, applications are difficult to use, and system features are inhibited. For example, you can run python2.7 but not python3 without loading the development system. Likewise, gcc is on the machine, but not useable without the development system. I found it necessary to purchase a hub to get useful ports, and I purchased a real keyboard and mouse. That added $450 to the price. This machine is useable but not worth the price point. I'm waiting for a stable linux distro to pop on this machine. I'll give it five stars then.
