Saw snippets of this movie when I was younger and never really had the motivation to purchase it til the new one came out. Now being able to watch it fully, it really is a fun sci-fi film. Will Smith and Goldblum definitely give the movie star power.

Will Smith at his finest this movie is without a doubt one of my favorites of all time when it comes to alien movies except for the original alien.

The picture looked amazing but honestly not a huge fan of the story. I know it’s a classic but I don’t know. I’ve seen better space invader movies.

A total classic that was the biggest movie at the time. The visuals mostly hold up, and the film is still very enjoyable.

As good as the first time I watched it on the big screen 20 years ago....and then some. The added scenes were a nice bonus. Great quality and sound. Looks and sounds like a movie from 2016.

I love this movie and hopes there is a 3D version. My daughter and me love this one so much that I actually buy the blue-ray for the fist movie again (I already have the old DVD version) so my daughter and me can watch again - very entertaining!

This is a really good Will Smith movie. The storyline is very well thought out. The acting by all is well done. I could watch it over and over!! I love it when we beat the aliens!!

For those Steelbook collectors, this is one beautiful package. The Blu-ray is the same one that has been issued before but, being that it was high quality in the first place, this isnt an issue.

Classic movie in a nice looking steel book. There isnt much to say about the movie itself but more about the actual edition. I w9uld recommend this edition to any collector.

The original is a Great movie and wanted the 4k version and digital for my library. Great Movie if you have not seen it!

I remember seeing the first one at the movie theatre with friends. This one was just as good and worth the wait! And I was able to watch it in the comfort of my own home which is how I prefer to see movies now that I'm 20 years older! Haha

This excellent Sci-Fi film was previously available on Blu-Ray but now includes the Special Edition that was last seen when the DVD first came out. I never get tired of seeing this film and watching it on Blu-Ray makes it that much better!

Bought this movie to watch on July 4th. Is a fun watch, but definitely dated.

Glad to see the "old" move re-released, beefed up a little in the packaging and some of the extras on the disc. Had old banged up version got rid of it to get this one. If a sci fi fan, one of those movies to have in collection, a classic, just a bit dated in some special effects, a little corny and cliche' at times, but what do you expect?

This didn't give me anything new off of the old DVD I had, but I needed it in HD, and the price was right. Great choice is you just want the HD version, and not caring about an expensive collector's edition...this was more than adequate.

The movie still holds up and is very entertaining. The Blu-ray (upscaled on my TV) looked wonderful. Recommend the purchase. (I watched it on July 4 to celebrate Independence Day.)

Legit 4k and HDR makes this a must re-watch. Check out the extended edition for scenes you may not have seen before. I watched on 120" screen with 4K Projector and this is well worth an upgrade if you only have a DVD version.

I own the original DVD of ID4 when it first came out. Of course the Blu-Ray version have more details. The extras are pretty much the same except the DVD version had a HBO special. Plus a free movie ticket to see Independence Day: Resurgence.
