This is one of my all time favorite movies, and I've seen it in VHS, DVD, blu-ray, and now 4k. The 4k version definitely shows some grainy-ness because of its age, but still quite the visual experience.

Movie was fun to watch when it first came out and still is. CGI looks a bit dated a times and some of the movie impact doesn't hold up over time but still fun to watch. The PQ looks great! Must buy for fans of the movie.

One might think this movie is stupid, goofy, and perpsterous. It is but that is the beauty of it. It worked well on so many levels and still holds up today. A classic in the "let's destroy the earth" type of movies.

I grew up loving this movie and of course the bluray is the best it's ever looked - but dang that steelbook is cool! So glad they made this edition.

I love this movie from the first super bowl ad! I remember watching this opening day in a packed theater and got chills!! the blu ray did not disappoint and 4k upscaling on my set up brought a new sense to the film!

Great movie from years ago. Bought this for the 4k and it looked just like a modern movie. Great quality. Also loved the directors cut version. It shed light on different occurrences throughout the movie.

I've seen this movie many times. I love the 20th anniversary edition of the movie. I love it so much & it was worth it. I won't sell or trade it for anything else.

When the human race is decimated by an alien attack, leaving nations leaderless and confused, heroes will rise up to fight. Those heroes include pilots, scientists, and of course a nerd and a washed up crop duster.

Soon as I saw this I just had to buy it. A great movie on blu-ray disc. One of my favorite classics that comes to life on a blu-ray format and a high def T.V. The scene showing the Capital building is mind blowing.

To honest I surprised of how good the picture quality was. Overall it's a must buy for all sci-fi lovers.

Classic film favorite - has it all in one. Steelbook was a must. Very happy to have it. One of Will Smith’s best. They hardly make movies like this anymore.

I couldn't believe that after all these years I hadn't added this movie to my collection. This has got to be one of the greatest movies ever made (in my opinion) and I tend to watch it each time it shows on one of my cable channels.

The best Alien attacks Earth movie of them all. Fun stuff, likeablr characters and great action set pieces with fabulous special effects

I love this film as a child and I love it still today. The sequel is not great but you can’t go wrong with this first movie. Perfect 90’s cheese.

They finally released the extended version of the film on blu ray and they really improved the picture compared to the other blu ray version. Awesome that it came with a free ticket to see the 2nd movie in theatres.

This is a great looking 4k remaster of a catalog title. The use of HDR is where this release truly shines along with the stellar DTS:X track. The sci-fi classic has never looked or sounded better.

Independence Day holds up surprisingly well, and i's never looked better. Plus, a digital copy to take the movie with you anywhere. Lot of good bonus material, too. A definite must-have for sci-fi/action fans.

I already have the old version but when I bought this it was so much better I'm glad I invested the money on because I have a Blu-ray player and it was so much better and surroundsound and everything great choice

Independence Day is one of the most iconic and classic alien invasion movies ever and if you haven't seen it then what are you waiting for, go watch it!

Love this movie must haves for whoever has a 4K TV 4K Blu-ray player it looks fantastic don't forget to calibrate your TV
