Just watched Temple of Doom and half way through Raiders. I’ve also skipped around on Last crusade in the Crystal Skull. All I have to say is the picture quality is phenomenal. Many scenes look almost three-dimensional because of the uptick in resolution. I have a LG CX OLED 65” and of course watching it in Dolby Vision. Many colors pop off the screen. I could not be more impressed with the set. The Dolby Atmos sound is also amazing. I agree with some of the reviews on the box set being flimsy. It is interesting though that some choose to give the box set a one star review when they’re not reviewing the picture quality or sound but the box itself. This could be confusing to someone simply skimming the ratings. This is not Best Buy’s fault but the manufacturer. Rest assured that this is everything you’re hoping for if you’re an Indiana Jones fan and are thinking of double dipping with this stellar presentation.

Indiana Jones 4-Movie Collection: Video: 5/5 Dolby Vision Indy debuts on 4K with a 2160p/Dolby Vision graded UHD presentation that appears very filmic with a healthy amount of grain. The color palette that the DV provides makes the colors fuller and denser. Whites are striking without being too soft and the overall image is quite sharp. Audio: 4/5 Dolby Atmos The new Dolby Atmos soundtrack is quite good. Dialouge is clear and action scenes are full-bodied. It never gets too aggressive and I wouldn't label it reference quality, but it's still pretty good nonetheless. Overall: This is a must-own collection for any avid movie collector, this is now the definitive version to own in my opinion. At least, until they eventually release a 5-movie set once the new one comes out. I had preordered this set and it arrived only a day late, but I think it got expedited when I called customer service on release day to see if I could just cancel the pre-order and pick one up in-store. I wasn't able to do that, but I was able to take my delivery in for an exchange since it arrived to me damaged.

At long last, the Indiana Jones movies in stunning 4K and after watching them, the picture quality on all four films is a major improvement over the previous blu-ray collection released years ago. The Dolby Atmos sound is also a big upgrade in a sonic presentation considering these movies were released years ago with the first three being released in the theaters with Dolby surround, which is dated by today's standard. Raiders is easily the best movie in this series, followed by Last Crusade, Temple of Doom and Crystal Skull. Crystal Skull offers the best in picture and sound quality. My only complaint is the cheap and flimsy storage box that these SteelBook cases come in. I just took the individual SteelBook movies out of the white box because the cheap cardboard had major creases and dents. Inexcusable for poor packaging from Paramount for this iconic franchise of films. But despite that, as well as no regular blu-rays included with the 4K versions, I still highly recommend the upgrade if you are a fan of these films.

It’s Indiana jones in 4k. Love it. Steelbooks are great! However, the cardboard outside holder/sleeve did come bent a little.

Indiana Jones has never looked or sounded better! The previous Blu-rays were mastered from film so long ago that they just didn't hold up to modern discs. These newly remastered 4K Blu-ray discs are demonstrably better truly do the Indiana Jones movies justice. The image quality is a big step up, not only on clearly improved detail, but the addition of HDR (Dolby Vision in this case) really makes some of the scenes pop in ways they never did before, even in the theater! And the new Atmos soundtracks are far more enveloping. If you love these films, you must have this collection.

Call me whatever you want but sad to say that this is the first time I have watched these film! The 4 films looks great considering their age. Paramount did a great job in remaster ing these 4 films plus the added new dolby atmos track with added to the excitement of the films. Hopefully the next in coming movies looks great like this especially the old cataloged. One bad thing though, and I know that you know that already... The box that houses the steel books looks cheap and luxury e paid for a premium price for it. Too bad!!!

First off, the movies look and sound amazing on 4k and Dolby Atmos. No reason to not buy the movies if you're a fan. However, Best Buy, the packaging is not good. I really wish you had just used the original poster art for these SteelBooks like the later individual releases. But I bought these for the movie and not the packaging.

Nice transfer to 4K UHD .You notice a bit more details than the Blu-ray and a few bloopers like red stains on clothing prior to fight scenes in the bazaar in Raiders .PQ overall looked natural and organic without major CG enhancements. Letter boxing in evidence though with head shots cropped at times. Liked the Dolby Atmos. John Williams symphonic orchestral flourishes came through nicely in Raiders . Packaging of the discs in individual steel cases for each movie was amazingly good. Overall, reccomended.

Movies look absolutely incredible like they were filmed yesterday. Dolby Atmos tracks are fantastic. Definitely an example of definitely an example of a noteworthy 4K upgrade over the previous bluray which looked great in its own right. Steelbooks aren't bad look like the design was rushed the flimsy case they come in is the flimsy case they common is pathetic for the price and for such legendary films.

Excellent looking 4K video and sound quality for a fantastic film series (the first three anyways). The steelbooks are nicely done and the set is overall a good purchase. The only real issue is the cardboard case the steelbooks are housed in, it would've been nice if the case had been metal as well like several other film collections have had done for their steelbook release.

Okay... The four stars comes from the fact the steelbook set looks better than the standard 4k release (speaking of the cases), and the 4k discs themselves are premium quality - as in audio and video are stellar. I do have a few gripes about this though. 1. I echo sentiments that the outer packaging sleeve just straight sucks. 2. It would've been nice if a few newer extras were added, but what's there is already solid. 3. It's nice to have the digital copies, but could we already have the capability to use Movies Anywhere?! Those gripes are pointed at the studio, who put this all together. Once again, I'm grateful the movies look and sound superb now. But while I like the actual steelbooks themselves, I'm just a little curious over the lack of effort. Either way, if you're a fan like I am, definitely pick this set up. It's tempting though to want to display the cases another way (considering going into arts and crafts mode).

Really glad they remastered this in 4K. Great image and sound quality on this set. I really enjoyed watching all 4 movies, one after the other. Contrary to most critics, I also enjoy "The Crystal Skull". Looking forward to the next Indiana Jones film. Nice art work on the Steelbook cases. which come in a cardboard case.

The first 3 movies look amazing on 4K. Definitely an improvement over Blu-Ray and worth the upgrade. Highly recommend. Very glad I went with the SteelBook set. They are more sturdy and you don't have to worry about plastic breaking. I really like the new artwork for the cases too.

This Indiana Jones 4k box set is really nice the steelbooks look nice too. But the outer packaging is a little flimsley would have been nice to have had something harder. Other wise the picture on all four movies is really good something every Indiana Jones collector should have.

It was a long time coming, but everyone's famous archeologist has arrived on the UHD format. The four Paramount Indiana Jones adventures have all been given new picture and audio transfers, and the results on all four are fantastic. Outside of owning 35mm prints of all four movies, I doubt they will ever look as great as they do now. The only downsides? For one, I wish the artwork on the individual steels used the original poster art for each of the films. The artwork used here is okay, but the posters would have been so much better (the outer cardboard case housing the discs? Toss it. It's garbage.) Second, while there is plenty of supplemental material covering "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on the accompanying blu-ray bonus disc, some sort of retrospective featurette to celebrate the film's 40th anniversary would have been nice to have. Alas... I'm so happy to have these films back in my collection, and so will you.

    Great Restorations with Poor Presentation

The restorations were done very well from what I’ve seen. Going back to the original negative is always the best place to start. My big gripe is with the packaging. The box is very thin, and it was hard even finding copies that were acceptable even on release day. Most had a lot to just some damage them. The steelbooks themselves are somewhat basic, though the art we get is good. Why they picked white for the background is a mystery. If anything, the interior art used should have been swapped to the exterior. Get either the steelbook or regular sets. Should you get the steelbooks? It depends on your level of fandom. Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of my all time favorites so I had to get the steelbooks for that alone.
