I was a huge fan of the original Infamous games, so I have been looking forward to Second Son for awhile now. Overall I am very happy with the game, and all elements that are expected by fans of the series are there, but I am not too keen on some of the new controls. The use of the touch pad is a bit awkward, and the graffiti missions seem a bit random and pointless. Other than that, I am very happy with this game.

I was very satisfied with this game. After playing through it with evil karma, I immediately wanted to start over and play through with good karma. I haven't made it all the way through the good karma mode, but it's just as fun the second time around as it was the first time. I like how they segregated power based on good vs evil karma. The controls are pretty solid. I've found myself zipping around or flying around aimlessly just because it's so enjoyable. Minor spoiler: my only gripe is that the end-result of the paper trail quest was not very satisfying. I felt a little jipped, but I did enjoy the paper trail missions. They were sometimes extremely complex and at times frustrating, but once completing a section, I felt compelled to finish it. If only the reward had been more... Overall I loved the game. I have very little negative things to say about it.

The best all around gaming experience I've ever encountered. Super great graphics, great story, and gameplay you can get lost in. Good or evil make your choice. That aspect alone gives you extreame replay value. Best PS4 game to be released so far.

Great Story line and the graphic r so great and the action when your fighting its amazing

The first two Infamous games were awesome in concept and the way the story developed. Second Son took the Torch and ran with it all the way to the bank. They did a great job connecting you with the new characters at the start of the game and the game play is some of the best I have seen. This game is defiantly worth a look at if you enjoy puzzle/problem solving games and intense action and game play.

I think this game is great, especially if you're a fan of infamous. I will say that I think the story behind the game isn't as great as the first 2 but the game play is much improved, even though I only had minor issues with the game play on infamous 2. Graphics are great and you can play this even if you didn't play the previous ones, though I would recommend playing the first two. Don't listen to some of these game review sites giving it an 8 out of 10. I would give it a 9.5 out of 10 but it's not an option, the only flaw I find with the game so far is that there aren't any square button grenades like the last 2 and at some parts it is a bit too easy on normal play through. Also I'm writing this only having played the game as the hero, I've heard playing as the Gillian is much more fun. Also I haven't played the dlc's yet.

This is probably one of the best games I've played in a long time! I liked the previous InFamous games but was completely amazed at how far they went to make this franchise even better on the next gen consoles. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is smooth and intuitive. Also, in this iteration of the inFamous franchise there are multiple powers to use and upgrade, each one stronger than the last. Also, a couple of the different powers in this game make it really easy to traverse the entire game world, unlike other inFamous games where getting around could be tiresome. I played through 3 times, obtained every collectable and upgrade every time and never got bored. They really stepped up their game on this one. This is the first next-gen title I have played that has actually felt like a next-gen game.

Whether you've played the other inFamous titles or just picking this one up on an impulse-buy, you've spent your money well. The story still has a few characters that feel underused, but the overall arc is way more focused and easy to understand. Oh my god, the graphics are FANTASTIC!!! I've already beat the game both ways, but I'll still keep this title just to ogle at the impressive visuals. The only complaint that I can think of is the fact that the game is rather short. Wether this is because I had too much time on my hands is not known, but you can probably 100% this game on one karma path in maybe 10-12 hours. That's a guestimate, but it is what it is. Other than that, the gameplay, as well as what I mentioned is reason enough to get this game and play through both ways towards that platinum. Enjoy!!!

This game is fun. love the story and the graphics are great.

All in all the game is very awesome both in graphics and smooth transition from beginning the game through learning the controls required to play successfully. I only found myself trapped in a few areas of the map that I could get into, but once I made it into the area...I made numerous vein attempts at escape to no avail...So I recommend this game completely and whole heartedly!! I just know you're gonna love it!! Happy Heroing or Criminalling everyone!! Oh, and get yourself stocked up on food, snacks, and caffeinated sodas my friends, you'll be needing enough to last for at least the first week of addictive cult-like game play!! :-)

Good game with great graphics and game play. Good story too.

I've even looking forward to this game since it was announced. When I got it, it was as good as I was hopeing for. The powers are great the graphics are great. The only complaint I think I have was I wish it was a little longer.

I switched from Xbox to PS4 so this is the first Infamous game I've played. I enjoyed it a lot and look forward to future entries. I can definitely see myself becoming a fan of the franchise. The gameplay was interesting and the side missions give you incentives to actually do them. I knocked one star off for the boss battles. I found a couple of the boss battles frustrating.

Good controls, nice visuals, decent enough story. Not too fond of the main character though, kinda reminds me of Poochie, the leather jacket wearing, sunglass-bearing cool dog from the Itchy and Scratchy show. Otherwise, it's a must buy for the PS4.

Love this game. It was a little slow at first but once you get into it, it is a ton of fun. I've almost beat the game. I bought two at the same time and have mostly played this one. Story mode kinda sucks but it always does. The game play is great. GTA style. Fun missions with a lot of side missions. Best game i've played on the PS4 so far.

Great new game in this series...some good doc as well

There seems to be a lot of open world sandbox games out these days. Infamous SS offers a slightly more unique experience in that your character has powers. The story is good, but not great, enough to keep you interested. The main character is kind of annoying, but he's not that bad. Like most open world games some of the events and things you can do in the game get repetitive. It seems to be the same events strewn throughout the city, but Infamous SS does have enough variety in the events to keep things from being too boring. It's no GTA, but the game is good and the graphics are good displaying the potential of the power in the PS4. 2015 games slated for the PS4 look to tap into more of that graphical prowess. All in all the game is good, better than average and should keep fans of the Infamous series and PS4 occupied.

This game has great graphics and it is fun to play

This is a really good game. I have been an Infamous fan ever since the first game. This game has taken everything from the first two and made it great. I love the powers and how they are actually based on modern things we have around us everyday. I love the graphics you see the subtle facial expression when like the face tensing up in anger or small smile and you see the blast and explosion when you blow away cars and the smoke coming off the wreckage. This is a great pick up for anyone with a PS4 and if you are considering purchasing a PS4 this is a great game to get.
