It's a good product ,easy to use,really like the safety auto on off system 1. because the motor never over heats n it great for protecting against children putting their hands in. 2. because the first thing i put in the shredder was an old cd since alot of the reviews i read here said that they tried it and it did shred the cd but it took a lot of work and they didnt try it again. Well all i have to say is that the shredder has no problems cutting anything apart very good.

This paper shredder is very easy to use and can handle all of our everyday shredding. It even shreds credit cards and cd's.

Plugged it in / Ran 10 sheets thru it took 4 seconds to shred Ran 8 sheets thru it took 3 seconds to shred Did not Bog down at all NOTE; I used 24LB paper/ not 20LB paper

I have had this machine since December, 2010. It is easy to use and has not had any major paper jams or other issues since I bought it. I am a moderate to heavy home use shredder. Basically, I shred anything that is remotely personal in nature. I have been quite satisfied with it so far. I was, however, surprised by how top heavy it is which makes it difficult to empty which is the only reason it is getting 4 stars.

had it for a few weeks,cleaned out the desk,no problem with it whatso ever it cut up all the old gift cards,credit cards,with ease,didn't use it on any disks yet.

This falls under the "Get what you pay for" line. More than I've paid in the past, but seems to be well worth the money. A little louder than I'm used too, so if you plan to shred stuff in the middle of the night, I hope you live alone.

I am really glad i purchased this shredder. It is very powerful & amazingly fast. It's a nice compact size, doesn't take up too much room. Great for small spaces. I purchased this when it was on sale. I recieved a instant credit of $18.00 off the price, plus i am a reward zone member, so i used my reward zone certifiacate that i printed on line and i recieved an additional $20.00 off the price. I don't do a lot of shredding, so this is a fine shredder for moderate use. It makes a quiet, businesslike sound for paper and a satisfying growl for cards and discs. Staples are not a problem. I like the handled lid for opening and cleaning out. It takes a second or two for it to start shredding, but that teaches patience.

I’ve had this for almost a month now and use it during the week to shred unwanted credit applications… When my old shredder died I looked around on the net and found this highly rated shredder. I had about a months+ worth of junk mail waiting to be taken care of when I got home with this shredder and it ate it up no problem (pretty much going constantly for 5+ mins).

Nice for the price, easy to set up, works great, does exactly what it advertises that it will do.

As I haven't had the opportunity to use this much; I can not attest to its quality in lasting. It does shred to the tiniest pieces of any other shredder I have owned which I like; however, it is the loudest shredder I have ever owned or heard.

In the short time I've had the unit, I've used it to shred paper, CD's, and credit cards. It did so without complaint. When the basket is full, it lets you know. So far, it's been a good experience and a great purchase.

This is a great shredder for the price. Easily beats all other shredders of the same class. Great for home office use.

Used it for a few months now and LOVE IT! Much quieter and easier to use than the last one we bought. Have shredder up to an hour constantly and no problems. Takes cd's, ccards, etc with out a hitch. HIghly recommend it to everyone.

I've only had this shredder for a few weeks but it hasn't let me down yet. I was looking for something that was pretty good but not too expensive and this has been a good answer. It only has 2 pieces when it comes to putting it together and 3 options to select while using. It's very easy to use.

After buying an Embassy 4 sheet shredder and having it overheat then break after 10 minutes of use, I immediately returned that junk and looked on bestbuy.com. Of course, I found this one, read the reviews and went to the store to buy it. My local Best Buy did a price match as it was not on sale at the store. I used this tonight for over an hour, and it ate through all of my documents and credit cards with great ease. Highly recommended.

Nice Shredder. Cheap. Effective. A bit heavy, but not too bad.

i've had 3 shredders in the past and this is my 4th one. my old shredders after a few uses, would have paper stuck by the blades and would need to physically pry it out. the INIT shredder so far has not done that. also, you can shred cds and credit cards - which is really awesome.
