This is a game that I put off buying for a while because I was convinced it couldn’t measure up to the quality of story of the first game. Ultimately, what convinced me to pick this up was getting the full experience of all the different characters and DLCs in one disc. The graphics and fight mechanics are vastly improved from the first game, but the gear purchasing gets a bit annoying. This version of the game is well worth picking it up because you not only get all the regular characters and skins, but also all the bonus characters like Hellboy, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Darkseid, and more.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. The gameplay is very smooth and the graphics are great. Many different characters to choose from, all with unique moves. Overall great fighting game (Mortal Kombat style), can't beat it for the low price.

There's tons of content and a huge roster of characters to have fun with for a long time. The game plays great and my son loves seeing the super heroes.

Are you a fan of fighting games but have always been a bit intimidated by the steep learning curve? How about Batman or Superman? Heard of those guys? Well this game's all that and a bag of chips. Finally a fighting game with hardcore mechanics, but still approachable to noobs. That's not to say this game is easy by any means. If you only ever play the main story you'll face minimum to moderate challenge at best, but it's the Multiverse and leveling/gear systems that really make this one worth the price of admission. So what are you waiting for? Go buy it. Now!

These is a great fighting games and similar to Mortal Combat. This is the cheap and complete package you can get. Totally worth the price.

First off the graphics are phenomenal. I’m still in disbelief that we haven’t moved forward in fighting games though. I thought Soul Caliber was the next step but every other creator goes back to the 2 dimensional fighting. I mean grabbing a piece of the scenery is cool and all but where is the sense of freedom, of movement. I mean this is fighting after all and we still can’t side step a punch. Makes no sense to me. We have all the abilities to make games open world but we are still using a street fighter/mortal kombat platform nearly 30yrs later. I know the popular tournaments are in this style but could a developer break the chains and send us into another dimension, into the future? Soul Caliber is so much more balanced, you put these graphics, this legendary background, and these moves into a true 3D arena and watch the minds of every player in the world be blown away. Truth...

Love everything about it thus far. It contains all of the characters of the game and that alone makes the purchase worth it.

Graphics are quality and the story is entertaining. Facial animation is spot on and the large selection of characters just adds more to the game. One of the best fighting games out there. Can’t wait for the next one.
