Doesn't work with new MacBook Pro

Contrary to the claims that this works with MacBooks powered by USB-C, this unit will NOT work with the new MacBook Pro. I purchased in December and it worked fine. Then recently it stopped working. When I contacted the manufacturer they couldn't have been LESS helpful. First stating that it never worked with the MacBook Pro, then saying it did until a Mac software update prevented it from working. The company's shoddy customer support is reason enough to stay away from this product. They refused any assistance. They seem to think the 6 weeks it did was was sufficient for the price. Stay away from this product and manufacturer.
