Let me preface by saying I know tech well enough that I wasn't planning on giving up. Enough online sleuthing, however, showed me this wasn't a problem I could fix.

I mistakenly purchased this for an elderly family member.
While it's a decent TV, it's meant to be used with Roku. It was a little more complicated to operate for a Senior person...but that was my fault for not being more aware. I had to return it.

Had I known this was not a traditional TV, I not have bought it. I assumed it would go to the last channel viewed. I'm disappointed that I have to select the cable box at every power up. Otherwise very pleased

Good functionality, like the Roku integration. The TV broke 35 days after purchase. Bestbuy replaced it without any hesitation. Pleasantly surprised! Sure hope this is not indicative of brand.

Having Problems with the TV in less than a month

It was working fine for the first couple of weeks, And then it would go into Standby mode during a TV program, or it would Just go to the Home Screen on its own, I done a Factory reset and it's continuing to do the same thing, Luckily I bought the Geek Squad Warranty.
I told my wife that after this issue I am done with Smart TV's and I'd rather stare at a Wall than deal with the headaches from this TV.
P.S. I did deactivate the Sleep Mode, Timers, And The Stand by mode before doing a Factory reset.

The infer red eye for the tv is so small that you need to be 12 inches from the tv with the tiny remote to operate the tv.
