Perfect for small apartment/single person
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this unit in May of 2017. It's Feb of 2018 as I write this and it's still going strong. This unit was purchased on sale and with Rewards points. It's a compact unit that I mainly use to heat tea and vegetables. It has 700 watts of power, so if you plan to use it to heat a small meal/TV dinner, it'll generally take longer to do so. Though I generally don't eat "TV dinners", I was planning to use it to re-heat the occasional plate of leftovers. I was bummed to discover that standard sized dinner plates are too big to fit in it. A slight inconvenience, and I've made-do by using other plates and dishes to reheat items - or resorting to my countertop convection oven. It's kind of an "it is what it is" drawback, but worth mentioning - hence only the 4 stars.

It is good for warming up small plates of leftovers, soups, a medium baked potatoe, but I myself wouldn't try to actually cook anything in it. Great for dorms, office, class room settings. Worth what you pay for it.
