Got this microwave for a dorm room. Works good and is perfect size for a dorm room. Hasn't broken yet, hopefully it doesnt for the next 4 yrs.

Bought for lunch room at work. Does the job but is a little underpowered. It’s ok for a work microwave but wouldn’t buy it personally.

I’d bought this microwave for my girlfriend and her new apartment. She was really thankful and excited to use it, and I was happy to help out. However, whenever you use this microwave, you have to (at least) double the amount of time you’d normally heat up your foods for. The wattage is poor, or the microwave itself is just not working properly. She’s tolerating it; I think she just feels bad and doesn’t want to complain. Though I feel bad for purchasing such a poor performing product. If she’d let me, I’d gladly bring this back into the store. 1star because it does turn on and work, you’d just have to keep heating up your food, longer. The 2nd star, because it’s a nice looking microwave.

Bought the microwave for a new area in kitchen with limited space and it works and looks great. Not loud, heats up everything perfectly. I recommend this product.

Something odd about this microwave. It constantly has condensation on the interior door so I frequently have to wipe it off. I've not experienced this with any prior microwaves. A couple of times I have pressed the start button and there was a short delay before it started. It has adequate features for this price point but I have a sinking feeling it's not going to last long.

WHEN I NEED SOMETHING TO WARM UP QUICK, IT DOES IT FOR ME IN JUST A FEW SECONDS. TV DINNERS ARE QUICK AND DONE HOT AND COMPLETELY COOKED. WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR!!!!

First and foremost, I stand by the Insignia brand. Best Buys store brand is just as good if not better than some of the other brands they sell in terms of quality, and it's obviously cheaper. Specifically this product though, thisnis a great little microwave, has all the features that most baseline ones have, i.e. 30sec quick start button and auto buttons for 1,2, or 3min, etc. And it has buttons for popcorn and other things (what other one would you use besides popcorn?)

We needed an inexpensive countertop microwave to use during our kitchen remodel. It has worked out great. It’s only 700 watts but we are making due.
