i wanted a small, simple, inexpensive microwave and that's what this is. So far - in the first month - it has exceeded my expectations in all regards.

Originally wanted this item in stainless steel but to replace my previous same one—since it was discontinued I ordered it in black and it’s perfect!!! It goes well with the Insignia toaster oven purchased awhile ago. When the time comes to replace it I’m sure I will be plead as well! Many thanks!!

I just moved into a new home with my 87 yr old mother so I could take care of her. The microwave that is built in is too high for her to reach so I got this countertop microwave . It has a very small footprint yet fits a full sized dinner plate. She now has her own microwave and I still have the majority of the counterspace! It works perfectly and is easy for her to use. I was skeptical at first with only 700 watts but it serves my mother well. A great buy ! Win Win!

This Insignia microwave is awesome. Not only is it sleek looking, it has all the features necessary. It warmed the food fast and evenly. I would easily rank this up with the $200+ models. My husband has it set up in his work truck/truck. By buying the microwave we are easily saving $10.00 a day. It pays for itself in about a week. A great unit at an even better price.

This microwave works well ans is big enough to heat up a meal . Sleek design and user friendly . Only complaint is when I try to open the door pressing the lever in DOES Not work without me also pulling on the door??? Disappointing since I threw the box out upon unpacking and this is a brand new item . Otherwise very pleased !! If I pause more I would not recommend buying due to door malfunctioning issue .

Delivery was very fast through Best Buy. Two hours after placing my order, the microwave was at my doorstep. The microwave is compact and works exactly as advertised, it fits a regular sized dinner plate. I have to add though that I am using it as a craft microwave only with my microwave glass kiln. 700 watts are sufficient for the purpose it was purchased for. Preset times are up to 6 minutes but can be increased in 30 second increments, even while the microwave is being operated.

Perfect for a dorm room! Efficient and compact. This microwave is affordable and looks greats. Fits perfectly on top of the mini fridge we bought so it saves space. The settings are great for different items. Food is warmed through perfectly. I would definitely recommend this item to others.

It’s nice and small so it doesn’t take up much space. The food heats up quickly. I only wish it was quieter to close.

My built in needed repair. I needed to have something to get me thru as my oven had quit and Best Buy can't seem to figure out how to get the correct oven and stove top to my house and installed...it has been nearly 3 months...you couldn't make this stuff up. So, I had to have something and a mini microwave seemed a good solution. It did the job. Then my built in was repaired and I have the little guy in the garage in case of emergency.

Excellent small but not too small microwave. Easy to set up and use. Fits on my counter. Can microwave one person box entree like Lean Cuisine as well as standard package vegetables along with popcorn etc. Looks good. Works well. If it keeps up working as well as it has the last couple of months couldn’t ask for better. Didn’t expect anything nearly this good for the price. Well pleased!

Because of space constraints, this was the product that would fit best. Unusual for Best Buy, the associate who helped me choose it was wonderful - maybe the best Best Buy store associate I've ever met. This microwave has a slightly higher power rating than my broken one did but the performance is about the same - hence only 4 stars but on the whole, I like it very much.

my 20 year old 1000w microwave is falling apart ... RIP... didnt have the white one in stock ,,,, got the black ,,Work good take a few seconds more lower wattage ....like the small footprint .... dont forget to remove the protective cover off the key pad !!!! is not a scatch ....... Nice price too .......Wife is happy
