Because of space constraints, this was the product that would fit best. Unusual for Best Buy, the associate who helped me choose it was wonderful - maybe the best Best Buy store associate I've ever met. This microwave has a slightly higher power rating than my broken one did but the performance is about the same - hence only 4 stars but on the whole, I like it very much.

my 20 year old 1000w microwave is falling apart ... RIP... didnt have the white one in stock ,,,, got the black ,,Work good take a few seconds more lower wattage ....like the small footprint .... dont forget to remove the protective cover off the key pad !!!! is not a scatch ....... Nice price too .......Wife is happy

Excellent small but not too small microwave. Easy to set up and use. Fits on my counter. Can microwave one person box entree like Lean Cuisine as well as standard package vegetables along with popcorn etc. Looks good. Works well. If it keeps up working as well as it has the last couple of months couldn’t ask for better. Didn’t expect anything nearly this good for the price. Well pleased!

This is a great compact microwave that fits perfectly under our kitchen cabinetry. The white color and overall design of the front face of the microwave is lovely. We have black cabinets and it still matches beautifully. Heats food and beverages well and the size of the inside compartment works well for our needs. It can hold a large dinner plate easily. Much quieter than our last larger model from a different brand.

For a small microwave oven the insignia is fantastic it gets the job done. I cook almost everything in it from burgers to vegetables for added attraction I purchased a microwave food crisper from Best Buy Now I can even cook pizza. I highly recommend this product Mike P

My microwave came to a sudden death, and I needed one fast. I wanted a small one to heat up water and leftovers, so it did not have to be fancy. This Insignia fits the bill perfectly. Its price is also kind on the budget. It was a pleasant surprise that Best Buy offered a one-day free delivery. Another extra bonus is Jenell who is the most efficient and nicest delivery person I've ever come across.

We needed a small microwave for travel purposes and this one worked perfect! I have a large rolling duffel bag that this fit perfectly. If you are looking for a small, inexpensive microwave for traveling, this is a very good option.

I like this little microwave, except teens don’t like it, because they don’t want to have to press the open bar and help the door open. We’ve had it for about a month and the door does not spring open when you press the bar. Simple to easily press the bar, and help the door to open. This is a 900 watt microwave, and you can easily covert from 1100 watt (normal recipes) to 900 watt. Search for conversion table and post it close by, for the family.

Nice microwave in a compact design. We don’t use microwaves very often and our old one was taking up too much counter space so we purchased this one and doubled our space and the microwave is very efficient for what we use it for.

This little guy works great, takes up little space and heat food up with no issue. I can place up to a dinner plate size item inside. From other reviews they made it sound like it could only be the size of a bowl. I would recommend and noise level is no greater than any other microwave.
