This is a nicely made SMALL microwave, which fits a lunch container or a cup of coffee to warm up. I read other reviews and I did not find it to be loud when the cycle ends and the done alarm sounds. I think it's normal sounding. It has a lot of options and a light inside (unlike some), and it's made of all metal and glass. I bought it for my office to heat up my lunch, but I did return it because I just need a stronger power than 700 watts. Other than that, it's a really nice unit.

Our built in microwave suddenly died and I just need one right now until I can order a replacement. This fits the bill... It is small and not powerful but that is expected for this price point. Heat up dinners and frozen food just fine.

This is a good microwave for the price. This was a spare microwave to use in the garage. It does its job and it performed above and beyond of what expected.

Small enough to fit in my 2020 PeterBuilt and powerful enough to cook my food. Well not enough to cook a turkey dinner but it’s keeping me fed while driving back and forth cross country. It’s great for new collage students or even people who live on their own. ITS EVEN A BETTER BUY when it’s on sale... Then again WHAT ISNT???

If you have limited space this microwave has a small footprint and very stylish. My big name brand microwave broke on me. I didn't know much about Insignia and was a bit hesitant, but really didn't need to be this unit is solid and works better than my old one.

I purchased this microwave for the office break area to replace one that was ancient! It is compact and super simple to use. It works well, but the turntable is noisy. Average quality, but I like the push button for the door.

This is a microwave that is easy to operate. It is compact snd can fit almost on any counter top. This is ideal for our elderly 90 year old mom. I would recommend this for dorms. Seniors and small living quarters

If you're looking for a tiny microwave at a reasonable price, this is it. The only downside is it is very noisy when microwaving.

I am having my kitchen done over, so no stove or microwave in the process. I purchased this small, compact microwave to get me through the 'mess'. It may take a little longer to make tea or heat food, but it doesn't take much room, easy to operate , gets the job done and has made my life a little easier during the construction project. Love it.

Great little microwave for a small apartment/home. Bought this for my office and it is used constantly. Great appliance at a great price.

Perfect size to warm up a cup of coffee or Ramen noodles, of heat up left-overs. Perfect for camper, doesn't take up alot of room. It's super easy to use, you don't need a PhD to operate!

I live in a studio apartment so space is at a premium in a tiny galley kitchen. I have a small shelf area that the microwave is to go in. The Insignia 0.7 cu. ft. was ideal to fit in this space. I could not be happier with this microwave. I actually moved out of an apartment that had a 1300 watt over-the-range Whirlpool microwave in it and the Insignia 0.7 cu ft microwave is so much better than the Whirlpool and food needs to be in the microwave for less time if you can believe that. I am very impressed. I use a food cover with vents to keep the microwave clean and so far have not had to clean the interior of microwave. I would definitely recommend this microwave for smaller kitchens.

This microwave fits perfectly in small places and also performs flawlessly. This compact microwave exceeded all my expectations and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

It is compact and simple and heats up without problems, I recommend it for small places and lonely people hahaha.I will buy another one like it for my use abroad.
