An absolute great microwave. There is a button on the handle to open the door. I don’t think it is necessary and probably will be the first thing on it to break. Other than that it is a very large and powerful microwave that can handle any task.

I've been using this Insignia microwave daily for over a year, and it has been reliable and trouble-free the entire time. It performs consistently well and has become an essential appliance in our kitchen. One of my favorite features is the ability to customize both the cooking time and power level. This allows me to heat food exactly the way I want, whether I'm warming leftovers, defrosting ingredients, or preparing snacks. The preset cooking options are also very convenient and make everyday use even easier. The spacious interior is another big advantage. It easily accommodates larger plates and containers, which is especially helpful for family meals. Despite frequent use, the inside remains easy to clean, and spills wipe away without much effort. After a year of regular use, it still works just as well as it did on day one. If you're looking for a dependable microwave with useful presets, flexible heating controls, and plenty of interior space, I highly recommend this model.

Really love the size and the functions. The push button on the handle to open the door is great. I had a compact microwave and it didn't seem to cook my food too good. But this one cooks my food good. Pops all the Cornels in my microwave popcorn-as the compact microwave did lousy at popping all the pop corn. Really loving this microwave.

First time buying a small appliance off of a computer picture. Works fine. Only complaint is the font size of the operating buttons is maybe a 6. Almost need a magnifying glass to read them. Otherwise, decent and normal for the price. Works well.

What else can I say, it's a microwave. Not too difficult to set up and run. Easy to set up the clock and operate. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to waste time figuring out how to operate the fancier models that are sold. So far it works as expected. I would definitely recommend.

A very good, straight-forward microwave that works reliably and well. It had a good price point for having a thousand watts and 1.1 cu ft size---going smaller is less expensive but not by much, and with this microwave I have all the basics covered.

Works very well, not too big and bulky, but not so tiny that it won't hold anything. The safety lock in the door is nice for small kids, and it's not inconvenient to use.

What an awesome find! In 2025, a microwave should not be expensive and complicated and this one so far has been great. I love the handle release button since it does not make the microwave slide across the counter when trying to open it. I also like the power at 1000W output! The controls are simple enough (easier than many others I would argue) and the quality feels like many other microwaves including ones 4 times the price.
