does a nice job stays put on rubber feet turntable

Bought this one for the office when our old one went kaput. So far it seems pretty good- it has a turntable and quick-start feature on the keyboard. Haven't tried nuking popcorn or the pizza button yet.

Great when it's working. Broke after almost two years. it turns on and starts spinning by itself and can't stop it unless open the door.

Purchased this unit in May, 2019 for occasional use in the lower level of our new home. Worked as expected and intended until now (October, 2021) - when the microwave suddenly began to turn off and on all by itself without human interaction. Tried to shut it off but only way to achieve this result was to open the door. After closing the door... it turned on again by itself. Concerned about a fire hazard, I unplugged it. I tried it again the next day. Same issue, same result. Seems like a manufacturer's defect issue to me. Sending this review to advise others to be cautious when considering this unit. Appeared to be a great price and value at the time, but fire hazard issue, relatively short life span and potential manufacturer's defect. Maybe this particular unit is simply defective. However, consider the risk before purchasing. Also, not sure why Best Buy lists this as having been purchased in 2020. This is simply not correct.

not bad but lacks a bit of power over our former microwave, which had 1100 watts. it sometimes requires a 2nd cycle to totally cook food.

So So looks, loud door open and shut … works fine. Wish I had bought the nicer one at Costco for same price.

Dissapointed in the quality of the touch pad. Looks like it is 5 years old.

Had this microwave shipped to my house; plugged it in and everything looked great, lights came on, easy to see control panel, easy open door....I thought "great", I'm gonna like this....went to try cooking a baked potato for 4 minutes and it ran just great...quiet....went to take my potato out when it was done and it was just as cold as when I put it in....there was no heat! Needless to say I was NOT a happy camper...

Garbage. Purchased October 2019. First one was defective upon receipt. Exchanged for another, which has now died after 1-1/2 years. Turntable keeps turning after cooking has stopped and while door is open. Had to unplug to stop turntable rotation.

Had this microwave for less than 2 years and I just had to replace it. It suddenly was running constantly but no way to actually make it stop. It was more expensive to get it looked at so we just trashed it.

Bought this last October and didn't get a warranty because it was so cheap. The front panel is starting to bubble and peel and the microwave is make a noise inside somewhere under the tray. Will never purchase a BB brand again!

I had to replace a broken microwave on Christmas eve and was limited to what was available immediately. I found this online so had to rely on the limited description, it was more than I wanted to spend and I was unsure about the brand and quality, but it was the only option given the desired features. There was no floor model to look at so did not see it until I got it home and unboxed it. I was impressed immediately with the sturdiness of the sides, top and door compared to all other microwaves I have used. The keypad/menu is simple to use and my elderly father had the whole thing figured out with a one minute explanation. It does everything we need it to do without being overly complicated. With 1000 watts it heats much faster than the 600 watt model that we replaced. It has a light inside to monitor the cooking process and a removable turn table. I'm confident it will serve us well for many years and would recommend the Insignia brand and this model.

Not much to say. It just constantly “microwaves” when it’s plugged in and you can’t actually use it :/

Insignia 1.1 Cu Ft Microwave Model # NS-MW11BS9 Great for cooking, and the low profile is perfect for my low handing cabinets. I only have two complaints: Very hard to open the door, the push button is extremely stiff and requires to much effort to disengage. I would have liked a door handle as an extra option. Also the control panel is hard to read when the unit is located in a low lighted area.

This is not the same color as advertised. It's black! This is a total deal breaker since I picked this one out because I wanted everything to match. The control buttons seem random. I feel like they don't make since & is a huge gray area when selecting which one to use. I was replacing my old 1000w microwave & wanted the same power...this one cooks food faster, I've actually ruined a entire dinner because of this. The only reason I didn't return was I had the flu & the return window of 2 wks had passed.

We love the finish on this microwave. We love its power, and nifty 30-second cook option. Luckily, we can place this in a corner of the counter because the door is freaking-hard to open!!!! For that reason, I have to say I would not recommend it :(

I bought this microwave, had it for about 11 days Before I returned it. Was little hard to open. Heating was ok could have been better, example on hot Pocket Didn’t heat in middle after 2 minutes. Then finally someone answered my question how is the touch panel holding out? Peeling? Yep. That’s when I decided it was going back Had the same problem on my last microwave. Although it was still working after 5 years, it looked awful Spend the money on something a little nicer I went with LG only because it’s what we use at work, day in out Everyday uses and still looks great. Go with your first choice, that’s what I should have done

Microwave works as advertised, but inside lower part under door rusted after 3 years
