Once again the Insignia brand has proved to be a winner. Great microwave that performs very well. I was hesitant about purchasing the brand as I was unfamiliar with it. However after reading some of the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I will definitely buy this brand again. I haven't noticed the noise that some people mentioned.

Having this microwave for a few month. It works pretty well. It heats up really quickly I rarely used 2 minutes and above. I like the feature that it can be muted. Good microwave over all.

Annoying/safety issue: Express cook feature starts microwave without pressing start button. I have and recommend an extra power switch at the outlet you plug the unit into. This feature is far from convenient as it means you have to make an extra press of the time button each time you want to enter the cooking time. Holding down the "8" key to turn off the buzzer is very annoying. As everyone knows this style of button is not terribly reliable. One ends up pushing hard for many seconds not knowing whether the button is pressed or not. It doesn't save the change in permanent memory and has to be turned off every time the unit is powered up. Except for those 2 "features" the microwave works well. It is quieter than the one I replaced. I haven't used the fancy timing options.

This microwave offers everything I need, from a nice size and price to high power for the size and an energy-saving option to turn the time light off when it's not in use. I've had it for several months now and have no complaints.

The microwave is bigger than I thought before I took it out of the box. But it's still a good fit for our kitchen. One suggestion, read the manual before you get started, because all microwaves work a little differently; especially if it's been a while since you bought one. Works great, and no problems so far.

This microwave has been a solid machine so far, I've had it about a month. A few little gripes, though. It is very loud! I mean so loud when it starts I thought something was broken. But it's just loud initially. Also, the beeps continue after you open the door, if you don't stop it before the time ends, it's going to do it's beeping alarm 3 times, even if you've literally already opened the door, taken out whatever was heating & closed door again..
