But that is not always the case today, so it comes as a pleasant surprise. Only one complaint, it is VERY loud. The loudest of any microwave oven I've ever been around since they have been sold.

I did not appreciate the previous microwave, identical make and model, doing defective during the extended warranty period. The store made me repurchase the unit while they sent my original out for repairs only to be told that it was defective and could not be repaired. Then I had to return to return to the store to get a refund on the replacement. I completely lost out on the remaining days left on the extended warranty and had to repurchase the entire plan. The product is okay, the store is a hastle.

Although a bit noisy (loud) when operating, I really enjoy the product. Clean look too as well.

This fit the cabinetry perfectly so that was one plus for us. We enjoy the preprogramed keys for 1 minute increments of time. We didn't think we would use the energy saving feature but we are making it a part of our routine.

The door is difficult to open- have to push hard to open it. I would rather have a micro with a handle to pull open the door. When cooking is finished it beeps 5x and you can't cut it short of 5 beeps. This is a problem when there are other people sleeping.

This is an excellent microwave, works very very well. Fits a good sized dish/tupperware/corningware and takes up little room on the ktichen counter.
