What I like most about this microwave is that it has the most-used commands programmed into several one-push buttons. For example, press the number 1 just once, the microwave immediately starts a one-minute heating process, without any more button press. Numbers 1-6 all have this "shortcut", for up to 6 minutes heating at a single press. Another convenient feature is: while the microwave is already heating with the timer counting down, pressing the "start" button adds an extra 30 seconds of heating time, and this can be repeated. Simple operation with the minimum number of button press. I like it! And it does its job (heating up the food) quite well.

Great addition to a small kitchen. Fits nicely on counter without taking a huge amount of space. Plenty of room to place mid size dishes. The black and steel design looks sleek. It’s easy to use and has some easy start features already set. Good value for the price point

I had the smaller Insignia microwave for nearly 5 years, which worked just fine, but my son needed a compact size microwave and I was really needing one a tad larger. I gave him the old one and I got this one. At first I thought it would take up a good bit more of my counter, but I was pleasantly surprised...it doesn't. It is a perfect fit and as with my previous Insignia microwave, no complaints and the price was right. The shipping was fast and it arrived safely.

To me their products seem to be great and effective. I have a mini fridge from them for over a year and it works so great. I decided to try this microwave from the same brand, and it’s being amazing! The size is perfect, it hits up food really good, just 2mins and I get a my food warm good, unlike my old microwave I had to go for 3-4mins. Overall I love it

The Insignia 1.1 Cu. Ft. Microwave is nothing fancy, but it heats food quickly and evenly. The controls are straightforward, it’s compact enough for most kitchens, and it gets the job done without any hassle. Just a simple, classic microwave at a good price.

Unit works great for the price. Easy to use. Direction manual helpful in 2 stage cooking and use of power level button. My only complaint is there is no 30 sec reheat and the unit is a little noisy. Overall, I would repurchase again.

This Insignia 1.1 cu. ft. microwave oven in black works fine, and the price at Best Buy was very competitive, especially on sale. Google "Wirecutter microwave oven review" and you will learn that virtually all countertop microwave ovens come from the same factory in China (Midea). Wirecutter took several microwave ovens apart, and the parts were IDENTICAL. The front panel on the GE microwave oven at Best Buy for twice the price of this one is IDENTICAL to the front panel on this one. I do recommend the 2 year warranty sold by Best Buy for $9.99. If the microwave oven fritzes out, just take it back to Best Buy and get a new one. No boxing and shipping!

Very easy to use, works great. Small footprint so fits perfectly on my small counter.

So far so good. The keypad programming is a bit different than what I've been used to from previous microwave. (must hit "Cook Time" first, Then enter a time, then Start, vs. just entering a time then Start. Also the Kitchen timer need to put Zero first "09:00" for example, if less than 10 minutes). But the overall quality and function otherwise work well. Appearance is pretty nice as well. Good value for a sub $150 microwave.

So far, pleased with this microwave. Fits perfectly in designated space. Love the look. Easy to use. Cooks well. Good replacement for previous microwave that lasted over 15 years.

If you're looking for a counter top microwave that's not too small, this is a great size. Unit looks good, operation is great and the overall value is outstanding. Better size than a true compact.

What can I say?? It's a microwave. It is big, but I didn't want a tiny unit. It has nice features. It was a better price than other units this size. I love it!
