Anything smaller would have been too small for a bag of popcorn. Simple button options and just what I needed. I love that I can manually enter time to heat, whereas the other microwaves I had only had the auto-minute selection (unless I just had no idea how to enter time manually on my previous microwaves).

But this is a really powerful unit-1000 watt power! It’s a bit bulky but that also means we have a larger oven space to fit bigger items in it. It’s black matte, and it looks good on our countertop. Highly recommended without reservation.

When pressing time buttons, it automatically starts as minutes. Ie.. if you want 20 seconds, once you hit "2" it starts cooking at 2 minutes. You dont just hit "20", "start" like I always have on every microwave in the past. You hit "cook time" then "20" then "start"
