I purchased this on sale. It is ok for what I paid. Everything seems to work as expected. It cooks as well as my large over the stove one did. The push button on door may wear out early and takes getting use to. If you turn the light off you will have to push the button to open it and pull it open from the top. Turning off the light seems to lock the door. I've had mine about 2-3 mos and I'm starting to hear a strange sound. I have no idea what is going on there.

Unit works great for the price. Easy to use. Direction manual helpful in 2 stage cooking and use of power level button. My only complaint is there is no 30 sec reheat and the unit is a little noisy. Overall, I would repurchase again.

Have had this microwave for over a month and it works great! Enough room for a big plate and fits conveniently above my refrigerator. Very pleased with my purchase, with super results.

Very pleased with the Insignia microwave so far. It is attractive, easy to operate (I have not had to consult the manual to set the clock, set the cook time, or change the power level) It has a good compact size and shape which fits nicely in the corner of my counter space while still being roomy enough inside, and it gets the job done. Great value for price.

I just needed a microwave that could heat up day to day snacks and meals. My only requirement was that it was large enough to pop normal sized bags of popcorn. This microwave is just large enough for my popcorn without taking up too much space. I have also come to love the energy saving mode which allows you to turn off the bright number display, this is perfect for people who live in small dorms who don't want bright lights keeping them awake at night.

This is a nice compact microwave that fits nicely on my counter top. It works great in heating food and cooking. I just have one recommendation for it. The light bulb inside should only come on when the microwave is running. I like to leave the door open after cooking with it and can't do that for very long or the bulb will be burning out real soon. Now I have to wipe down the inside to dry it out after every use to keep it from smelling inside and bacteria growing.

Perfect size great performance and Super easy to use. My 75 year old mom can use it with no problems. Its a must have!

I've only had this microwave a little over a year and a half and after hearing funny noises coming from my kitchen I walked in there a few nights ago and my microwave was turning itself on and off nonstop. My AC is crazy loud so I have to wonder if this is the first time too. Pushing the stop button did nothing but opening the door did stop it. However, as soon as I shut the door it started doing it again. Over and over. Finally unplugged it. The next day I plugged in and immediately the same nonsense began. Finally plugged in to a different outlet and it seemed okay so I ran it about 45 seconds just to reheat something, but after I took out the food and shut the door it started doing it again! So of course I unplugged it. Tonight I tried again, same on/off with those two outlets so I tried another wall and it didn't start running so I thought it might be okay. Wrong! When I tried to reheat something it started the on and off thing after about 3 seconds. So I guess it's just a big ugly paperweight now. My last microwave lasted well over 20 years!! It still worked fine when I replaced it as a precaution since some of the plastic on the inside of the door had chipped off and I was afraid that could be a fire hazard. That one worked perfectly for over 2 decades and this one couldn't even come close to 2 years?! That's pathetic!!!! As for the previous year and a half, this is by far the loudest microwave I've ever owned or used. Brand new I was always concerned it would just fall apart any second. Also, the covering on the control pad quickly got all crumpled up and looks super tacky. The only good feature is the ability to turn off the beeps and the ease of turning it off (press and hold the number 8). I would absolutely not recommend. Even if it had been perfect until now, that is way too much money for such a short lifespan. I'm living on a fixed income due to disability and now I have to buy another microwave quickly and hope it's not junk too.

Good microwave for the right price. Shopped around and found this one at the same price point as smaller microwaves. Bought it open box but would never have known.

I love this microwave. I just moved into an apartment without one, but I didn't want anything to take up alot of counter space. This fit the bill perfectly. It has your often used presets and quick timer buttons. I can even mute the sounds. As of yet, I have not had to heat anything for a second time. It's powerful, and it's also easy to clean with the removable plate. I'd definitely recommend this microwave.

Roomy enough for a dinner plate. Food is heated up very fast. Rated it a 4 because it is very loud.

This microwave is the size I needed. Have not had it long but so far so good. It is heavier than my previous unit. The rubber feet make marks on my counter and it does require an interior wipe out after several minutes. The key pad does not light up which would be perfect. All in all it cooks well and serves my purpose. I hope it lasts.

Got thia for my grandma after her old microwave had to be out out of commission. For the price we paid, its a good little microwave. Heats everything pretty well. Id say the only drawback feature to this microwave is each number is sets it to the number of minutes you wish to heat something up. However, there is a +30 sec button thats on the start. This is only a minor issue. So far my grandma loves it!

Pretty and works well. A little loud... and door slams hard

After our son put a bag of popcorn in for 6 minutes it was apparent that we needed a new microwave and this one was a great buy. Our old one was ginormous and we weren't trying to microwave a 10 pound turkey so this size was smaller but perfect. The buttons were loud but we were able to turn off the sound of them. All is well and our son now knows how to long to put popcorn in the microwave for.

In my home, the microwave is basically used to warm up food. No real cooking is done in it at all. My old microwave imploded on me one Sunday morning & I saw this one on sale for $50. The same day delivery was a BIG BONUS. Naturally, to do certain things properly, YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE TO OPEN UP THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL.....LOL, but that's OK. Having laid out only $50 + the Geek Squad warranty, this more than meets my need for what I look for in a microwave.

We recently rented an apartment that did not have a microwave. How can you survive without a microwave? Since we have a built in microwave in our home (which we are returning to) we only needed a counter top microwave for 6 months. We found this one at Best Buy; what a steal! It was inexpensive and works great! It far exceeded our expectations.
