Works 1st time no hassels

IT WORKS! plug it in and no hasels.. it interfaces my serial devices with no other software or monkeying around. op sys recognizes it and bingo..you are up and running.

Bit expensive, but I was able to drive to the store and pick it up instead of waiting for it to arrive via boat from China.

The serial port on the PC was already connected to other equipment.I purchased this to use a USB port instead. Connection was a breeze and everything worked well.

Great Tool to Console In

Only downside is the RS-232 side doesn't have the female screw connectors to hold the cisco console cable to the adapter.

Wish it was longer but needed it NOW and this was the only length available in the store. Did the job with some ingenuity.

nice cable for rs232 hardware to my laptop!
