    I work with a lot of legacy applications that still communicate via serial port (not a common feature on newer PCs). Windows automagically recognized this hardware and it worked...no issues.

    This is a great converter for USB to serial RS-232. I tried other brands before and they did not always work. This one does. Not an issue for me, but very short cord 1.3 feet.
