I purchased this Insignia convection over the range microwave oven on 7/21/2024. After installing it stopped working on 8/4/2024. When you close the door the light and the turn table would come on and none of the button would work. Called Best Buy to repair it and the Geek Squad came out to my house on 8/16/2024. Was told that I would have to uninstall it for the tech to look at it! Mark from Geek Squad was in my house a total of 10 minutes and never took the microwave apart to check it anything, he just plugged it in! Had to take off work for him to come. Was told by Mark from Geek Squard that this was an issue with Insignia microwaves, and that it needs a new control board. I was never told that the part should have been shipped to my house! I told Mark when he comes back that please I needed to be first thing in the morning. I received an Email the day before my appointment that said Troy would call me with my appointment window update-he never called. When Mark arrived 2 weeks later at 12:50PM (lost another day work!) with Troy also from Geek Squad Troy said maybe it might be the door switch. When I asked if it could be fixed was asked if I had received the part. I said I was never told that any parts were going to be sent to me. Then Troy looked at his phone and said that the part order was canceled, and the parts are no longer available so the brand-new microwave could not be fixed. I ask why I was the appointment not just canceled so I did not miss another day of work. Was told that they do not get the information and that this happen a lot and the Best Buy not Geek Squard was responsible. I asked them to leave my house as they have just made me miss another day of work! I had as similar issue with my Geek Squard 5-year protection plan where that would not fix my appliance as it be more cost effected for Best Buy to just to give me and exchange through their GSP Exchange Program. This was not the case before I have purchase many items from Best Buy and even used their protection plans a couple of times-it was great then. But not sure what has happened with Best Buy service & Geek Squard. Do not purchase anything from Best Buy and for sure do not purchase their protection plan!

I love this microwave. The racks are great. Nit a fan of the blue lights on clock display but otherwise very happy with purchase

Easy installation and well as great performance. We recommend it for the ease of using and oven features

This product works as expected. I would have given it 5 stars but the directions to use the convection oven is somewhat vague. Overall, I would recommend this microwave/convection product.

works great, this is a replacement for the one we had in our RV, so glad they didnt change the design.
