    I chose this Insignia model because of the inverter technology and price (it also came with a free Insignia bluetooth speaker with Google Assistant at the time). I previously had a Panasonic model with the inverter tech and was very happy with it. However, the inverter tech in this Insignia model does not work as well. We use it mainly to warm up the water for making formula bottles for our baby, and despite using the same time every time, it seems to come out at a different temperature every time. I do like the easy clean finish on the inside, and it seems to do a decent job heating other things.
