The temperature stabilized after two days and has been keeping within the range required by the meds since. I did put in some blue-ice packs to help slow down temperature changes when I open the door. I also bought a digital thermometer to monitor the temperature. I'm very happy with this refrigerator.

Good fridge, bad shipping

I have it in my classroom and there is plenty of space for my coffee supplies, lunch, and extra milks from the kids. What I didn’t like was that the shipping delivered it with a dent (several dents in the front and a corner smooshed and dangerous). I was going to return it but I kept getting forwarded to a new number at Best Buy and honestly, the point of getting it shipped meant NOT driving an hour to the nearest store.

The safety bar on the door has fallen off several times, orange juice and quart milk cartons fall to the floor.

It first became a problem to find a repair company and then parts availability left us without a refrigerator for over 8 months. The Insignia 1.7 Mini Fridge came to the rescue. We bought it as a short term solution and the unit works very well. I would recommend it to anyone needing a small fridge.

Switching the way the door opens was a little tricky, but otherwise it’s the perfect size.
