This Tablet is just OK for the price.
If it would have had 2GB of RAM instead of only 1GB it probably would have made a big difference in performance and made it more enjoyable to use.
Apps are very slow to load and several of the apps will crash and close unexpectedly which can become very frustrating.
It can also get quite warm to the touch on the back of the tablet.
I thought there might be an OS or System update for the tablet that might improve the tablets performance and stability but every time I check it says "Check failed! Please check your network!" but as you can see in the attached image there is plenty of WiFi signal.
The Google Play app installs and updates apps without any problems so the WiFi connection is not the problem.
I did a Factory reset on the tablet to see if that would improve things but the end result was the same.
It will serve the purpose of reading PDF Magazines, checking E-Mail and light web surfing but not much else.

I purchased two of these tablets to mount by my front and back doors so that I could access my security cameras via an app and be able to see what is on the other side of the door long before opening the door. The large 10.3” screen displays a great HD image of the view on the other side of the door or I can very easily switch to view on of the other 23 cameras on my home. I can even send a quick text or check email while watching the UPS man drop off my packages on my front porch. LOL. It’s vey convenient and the price was very reasonable. I typically only use the Apple products so instead of the iPad Pro 12.9” tablets that I have in other locations in my home, this $70 tablet does all that I need it to do for about $1,300 each less. I easily saved $2,600+ when purchasing these two Android OS tablets instead of the Apple products. And, it works great with my entire smart home. In fact, I would say that “Hey Google” may actually be more helpful than Alexa is at times. “Hey Google” will wake the tablet from the locked screed and pull up any app or any tasks prior to my arrival at the door. This tablet can unlock my doors or turn lights on and off or turn on the TVs or home sound system or any of the other countless features of my smart home. YEP, i’d say that I’ve definitely gotten my $70 worth out of these tablets for sure. You simply cannot go wrong at this price.

The insignia flex 10 tablet is loaded with marshmallow, android 6.0. 32gb internal memory with the option to expand. The screen is a nice size for playing games and watching shows. It works great for the price but it does have a few cons. Getting wifi signal isnt as strong as i would like it to be and the cameras both front and back are only 2MP. I personally dont mind it. Surfing the web works great. The built in speakers are a little rough to listen to, but headphones cure that issue. One oter issue is that when you try and check for system updates you get an error saying your not connected to theinternet even though you are. I checked out the manufatururs site and there wasnt any kind of drivers, system, maintenence dowloads available. So support is basically out of the question. Even with al that said, I am having fun with this off brand tablet.

I wanted to add a Tablet for home for media streaming, emails, reading pdf/eBooks/Kindle Books, listening to Music. Reading without straining eyes meant 10" screen size. This tablet compared to my iPad Air 2 is 0.5 inch longer, weighs a tad more. However, when I read reviews I was not sure if I wanted to buy it, eventhough I am not strange with Insignia name. I still have 19" TV of Insignia brand which was bought for a Kid in 2008 and is still running well.
The bad reviews are because after buying the following has to be done:
1. System Update ti make sure software is up to date
2. Next update all your pre-loaded Apps
3. Add micro SD card to store music, photos so the main memory remains free for apps to run
If you do these no issues. I have tested for media, emails, web browsing and noticed no issues thus far approx 2 weeks. I found Open Box and bought it at store. Added nice Fintie case made for this Tablet (see pics) and I am satisfied with a budget Tablet.

I have a 8.9" Kindle Fire that I paid close to $400 for back in 2013. So, not that old but old in terms of technology, I guess. It has recently been getting really slow and freeze-pausing when I try to play a game or use an app and the battery needs to be charged almost daily where it used to last for days! I hardly use it! I still love my Kindle but I finally decided to use it only for ebooks, audiobooks and Zumba app :) and started looking for a cheaper tablet strictly for games and apps. I just bought this Monday, was kind of leery of some of the reviews but got it anyway. Happy with it so far... This was not a daily deal but it was on sale for $20 less than regular price. Bigger than my Kindle, nice picture detail. Camera's not great, I think the Kindle camera was slightly better but I won't be using it much for taking pictures or Skype. I also like that I can now download from the Google Playstore; couldn't do that on the Kindle, only Amazon App Store. I also like that I can add an SD card, which is also not an option with the Kindle.

Great Tablet for older Adults

This tablet is perfect for older adults. There is enough storage so an SD card is not needed. The screen size is great for older adults to view. The screen keyboard is easy to use for adults with aging fingers. The cost is very reasonable for adults on Social Security. I use these tablets in classes to coach older adults the basics on using computer tablets.
The Cons: The tablet is slow.

Tablet is ok for the price. It does what you need it to do. Positives: Size, and memory. Negatives: Battery life, works slowly, and had to purchase tablet cover from another Amazon because I couldn't find it at Best Buy. However, I got a awesome deal with my Best Buy bonus points!

I bought this, for my wife, who uses it to surf the web, check her emails, Facebook, and play some mild games. For this purpose, it is a great value. Reasonably speedy, and the screen is adequate for viewing the above noted purposes. Fairly thin & lightweight. Doesn't have many input/output ports, buttons, etc., which makes it easy to operate, for the novice. Of course, Android has a plethora of apps available, to tailor to individual needs.
If you are expecting an iPad, at this price - move on. Want a workable entry-level tablet: consider this model.

This replaced another brand which was damaged and had to be replaced. GS were very helpful and suggested I may want the Insignia rather than the brand I had, because of the ease of replacement if needed. I find the tablet to be easy to use but runs a bit slower tan another brand I had owned in the past. For the price, however, the speed is inconsequential. The screen is clear and sharp. I would highly recommend this for average use.

I've never had a tablet before. This was so easy to use from the very beginning. The picture quality is great. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have had it now for about 6 weeks. The only problem I had was with the battery/power. One month after purchase the thing just died and would take no charge. I took it to the Geek Squad and they fixed it in less than an hour. My only other grip is that they sold me a Insignia tablet case, made for this size Insignia tablet and it would not fit. Surely I am not the first person to buy this tablet/case combo. Wondered why they would still advertise that the case fits my tablet.

Inexpensive basic tablet. The charging cords don't work; I returned my first one to Best Buy and they quickly replaced it, but the second one died the second day I used it as well. Rather than returning to Best Buy a third time, I just purchased an inexpensive charging cord that actually works. Processor is a bit slow when running large apps, but overall is a good buy for the money.

10 inch tablet with nice screen and lots of storage. Super price. Accepts lots of apps and stores photos. Speaker is so-so but works well with bluetooth speakers and headphones. My issue with it, is that it is slow upon start up. Takes a few minutes to update and get going and freezes up a bit. After that, the table is easy to use.

It's good tablet for the money. It has an Intel CPU, which means good performance, but not as great battery life. I would not recommend it if battery life is your top concern. Other than that, it runs fine, has pretty much pure Android on it (no bloatware), lots of storage, and it's cheap!

You get what you pay for, now this is a great tablet for the money, the screen and resolution are good, fast enough and enough memory, now keep in mind is under $100 so don't expect a $500 performance.
