This model is just as good. It's quick to cool off and I suspect the de-icing will be just as easy.

Great value for a freezer

I didn't think I would find as much use for it as I have. But after several months, I can honestly say that it was one of my favorite purchases from Best Buy. I have sensitive hearing yet it does not bother me. If you have younger toddlers like we do they will have fun moving magnets around on it on all sides. The only thing downside to this freezer is that there is one single basket. Follow the instructions before its first to use (cleaning, wiping it down, etc.). I would definitely recommend this product.

Just what we needed

The guy who did help me however, (while not overly knowledgeable) was still actually very helpful in the end. When he didn’t have the answers he sought out help from someone who did. The delivery process was only off by about two hours, which was an inconvenience but the delivery guys did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with them.
