This fridge is advertised as Frost-free but it seems that it applied only to the fridge, and not to the freezer atop. I've already de-frosted it three times in 4 months of use. This is going to be quite an experience down the road. There can be a whole book written about how bad this fridge is but to make it short, I'll say you get what you pay for. This is a budget level fridge offering budget quality. It does the job and is quite when the freezer is free of frost. The solution I found was to not open the freezer at all. So I keep big bags of frozen fruits/vegetables I get from the freezer once a week when needed. With such use, the maintenance has become less frequent. But no, I would not recommend to anyone buying this fridge.
