I love this coffee maker! It is so nice to wake up to the smell of fresh-brewed coffee each morning. It having a timer is exactly what I was wanting and I couldn't be happier with the fresh brewed taste as well.

The good - looks nice and solid metal. The bad - You have to make sure the lid is on correctly and the pot is properly placed or else the coffee won't go in the pot but end up on your counter or floor - there is little room for error. Twice now the little springs that work the release/sealing mechanism to drip the coffee into the pot came off - not a big deal to put back on, but why did they come off in simple washing? My biggest complaint is that the "burner" doesn't heat up so the coffee sits in the pot and slowly gets cold. Not a problem if you drink fast but I take my time and am very disappointed in drinking cold coffee. It also holds less coffee than I thought it would.

This coffee machine is awesome if it lasts more than 4 months. My first one only lasted that long but it was great and stays hot for a long time.

Found this on Deal of the Day for half off. So far so good. Love the timer and the stainless steel look. Comes with a filter but we prefer to use the paper ones.

This is the best coffee maker made. You have a pot that keeps the coffee warm for hours and is unbreakable.

Was tired of having to reward coffee in a glass carafe. So the insulated steel one is perfect to keep warm for a long time

Our old coffee broke and this one was Deal of the Day and has worked great every day since we got it.

I liked the look and the price of this coffee maker. I also like the Insignia brand. I own several of there items. This coffee maker was messy when pouring. The water tank area opening is to small, go slow when pouring. Into the tank or your cup. The thermal carafe may have kept my coffee warmer for about an hour. The main thing that turned me off is that it is messy. Have rag handy.

Love the fact that the carafe is stainless and it makes coffee fast. Wish the temperature was a bit hotter

It makes ok coffee. It heats up ok. So, it’s ok. It doesn’t feel particularly solid, and the filter holder actually broke, as the spring and depression valve that makes coffee flow directly into the pot, broke. Without this, the coffee sprays all over the place. I’m not sure why it broke after 3 months, but I can say that Best Buy stood up for the manufacturer’s 12 month warranty and is replacing it, no questions asked. I have to wait on it, as it’s out of stock, but I’m willing to give it another chance before giving up on the model.

There are better coffee makers, but this one is handy and meets our needs with the thermal carafe. Price was pretty excellent as well!

I love this coffee maker. It pushes through extra grounds when I need that little bit extra. Keep warm in the carafe.
