This Coffee Maker is attractive but difficult to use. It is hard to pour the water into the machine because the pour area is very small. The design of the pot makes it impossible to pour all of the water out of it so you have to bring it to the sink to turn it upside down in order to shake all of the water out of it.

I am sure glad I only paid $29.99 for this product. It is so cheap. I bought it for the insulated carafe, which is a joke. It only keeps the coffee warm for about five hours. My daughter has a Cuisinart that keeps the coffee warm all night. I believe the coffee it makes is next to terrible. I am going to give it away and buy something else. Even though I bought it cheap, that is what I got cheap. I wouldn’t even pay $29.99 for it again. Also, it is impossible for coffee without it dripping on the counter. Might be the worst appliance I ever bought.

The carafe doesn’t keep the coffee hot for more than 20 minutes. The coil in the lid broke on the second day. You have to program it every day for the following morning. It does not keep the program. So it is very awkward and inconvenient.

The lid on this coffee maker is poorly designed. Only a small stream comes out when you press the lever. It also splatters a lot. Additionally, the lid is designed in a way where you can't clean inside of it. My lid actually stopped allowing the coffee to go through it and the whole pot leaked onto my kitchen counter/floor.
Last but certainly not least, it doesn't make the coffee hot enough (in my opinion of course). The hot plate seems to turn off as soon as the coffee finishes brewing. It only gets cooler after that. If you like your coffee nice and hot, you may want to consider a different unit.

I had high hopes when I purchased this coffee maker. It was junk. More coffee leaked out of the machine and on to the counter than went in the carafe. Took the item back for store credit.

This coffeemaker looked and worked well until it completely stopped making coffee after 1 month. I have tried for 8 months to get Insignia/BestBuy to replace it under its one year warranty. Stay away from this coffeemaker.

I was excited about a new coffee pot and loved the stainless steel color and design of the machine. However, when you tried to pour the coffee out of the carafe it spilled all over. Too big of a spout I believe.

I bought this because it was on as the Deal of the Day for 39.99 and normally sells for 79.99. It had most of the features I wanted including a thermal carafe, gold tone filter, and an easy to read display. Upon setting it up it looked great. This coffee maker made great coffee and I was especially happy that with the thermal carafe which kept my coffee nice and hot. I even got a cup almost 8 hours after making the pot and it was still pretty warm.
This is where it ends. I had it for less than a month and while it still turns on, it no longer makes coffee. The water just sits in the reservoir and the grinds stay nice and dry. Which is hardly conducive to a good cup of java.
That being said I contacted Insignia customer service and was promptly assisted by a rep. He was extremely polite and very helpful. I wasn't sure if I would be able to bring the item back to the store due to no longer having the box and he advised me it wouldn't be a problem as long as I had the receipt (which I did).
Currently I am looking at the Cuisinart DCC-3200 as a replacement.

Although the coffee comes out hot and stays hot for hours, the coffee comes out extremely weak. Can see through it when I'm pouring it. If any one has any suggestions as to make this better that would be great or it's going to be returned.
