I didn't buy a used/opened version so I'm wondering why it looks like its been used and opened my someone.

Bought this to wire to broadcst from my surface pro 6 to my samsung smart tv. Very easy to use and does the job well. And the length allowed me to get the cable begmhind the tv while having the laptop on a stand

Does what it says, converts mini display to HDMI in a nice neat cable package. I use this with a usb-c dock to connect a second hdmi monitor throgh a mini display port. Does the job flawlessly, and the 10 feet of cord gives versatility, could be used for a living room set up, etc.

So I wanted to use a TV for a monitor because my older MacBook Pro is becoming desk ridden in its old age. So this cable lets me connect from the Mini DisplayPort to HDMI. And I get native 4K output as a result. My Mac experience is great on a big screen.

This is a terrific product to have to hook your labtop to a 52 inch screen TV. Which I have. Anything on labtop can be shown the big screen TV with the cable. Small end goes into the labtop and the bigger end goes into the bank of your TV 52 inch. Great for watching especially movies or sports on a large TV screen. Real treat.

Good... it is actually 4K with 60 hz... not mouse lagging ... good cable but price is high $29.99. The hdmi end didn't generate heat like others.

Needed this cable for my Surface Pro to a new monitor. Was looking for a Microsoft dongle so I could keep the cost low but this was available and the quality of the material and performance of the cable for the display output is great, No issues. And it was available in the store when I needed it.

The box clearly states that this product is "for Mac", but it also works with a PC. For some reason, PCs from Dell (business PCs) come with a mini DisplayPort for video and they only supply you a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter. I have an adjustable standup desk and needed a longer cable, so this cable works perfectly for that.

Woukd not have been able to watch Apple TV and Ted Lasso without this cable. My TV does not have an Apple TV app, so I run the cable from my Mac Air to my TV and am in business! Worth the money, for sure.

I bought this cable to connect an old MacBook with my television. It worked great! I was able to sit on the couch and work on the computer using the TV as a large monitor. The 10' length was perfect to reach across the room.

Did exactly what I needed -- connecting a device with only a mini display port available to one with an HDMI port. So glad this connection possibility was available in one cable.

Needed to hook up Surface to TV and this did exactly what it needed to do. Good connections held cord in place. Little longer than needed but gave me extra length just in case that is appreciated.

Works great with our Apple laptop. We can bring up a baseball game on MLB.TV and plug into an HDTV on back of our smart TV. Gives us a great picture.

Perfect for connecting an older MS Surface Pro to a smart TV. It says it's for Apple but works on the older Surface devices with this plug/port.
