Wanted a way to see movies or listen to music or books outside the house during the pandemic. This works great. It was inexpensive, recharges at home after each movie. It is a good distraction to be able to see positive movies and good music during trying times of social distancing. It makes a slight whirring sound, but that is not noticeable when the movie starts. A benefit is that it plays music CDs and books on CD as well as movies

Works well took it with us on cruise to watch in room while at sea. It especially played well on water and land but I did not really watch often. We had other things on agenda and was tired so only watched it for a little while but had great pic and sound.

Awesome portable DVD player. I purchased this before deployment, and I used it a lot during my 2 weeks of quarantine, when I was in "lock up" and there was nothing to do!

While the technology is older, I was able to use this product to watch movies without WiFi. Easy to use. I purchased it on sale. Good value and backup in case of blackouts !

Could use a little more of volume but it's ok, won't fail in extreme hot or cold weather, I had a Silvana which stopped reading disks within 6 months, This is my second Insignia dvd player, I got it for my youngest kid, I bought the first one two years ago for my oldest kid and is still working perfectly.

It works for me in a tour bus. It is compact and helps cut the time riding to the destination. the turning screens is a convience.

Ok product for the price. The first one I got worked for two DVDs, then stopped working g. Got it replaced, and the replacement is working, I like the swivel screen, and I like that it is compact. The main negative is the the audio, even on full volume is very low. In order to hear the audio while I am working out on indoor bike or treadmill, which are not very loud, I had to get external speakers.

The picture is fantastic and the sound quality is great. The screen swivels. I use it at work to watch DVDs during lunch.

Great picture, easy to operate with or without the remote. Only negative is the sound. Had to use a Bluetooth speaker to increase volume to a good level.

I bought this for my 93 year old mother to watch movies while in COVID 19 lockdown. She has no problem with operations; however, the internal speakers produce only very low volume output, so she uses headphones - which work fine.

while its not the best out there, this product is good quality, easy to use and durable. It sees a lot of wear and tear, and keeps on going.

My son still watches dvds. This is easy to use and the battery lasts. They tolerate frequent use. We have had several of these since 2015.

I enjoyed the Insignia Portable DVD on warm days outside by watching movies and listening to music. I also traveled with it and used it to quiet my grandkids down. They really enjoyed it too. I loved the swivel screen which made it more versatile.
