As soon as I opened the box and put the cover on top of the paper bin, I got to work. I shredded papers, no more than eight at a time for a full half hour and it did not shut- off on me or overheat. I was hesitant on buying this because of the price but I’m glad I did. It is good quality for such an inexpensive price. It is small though. I had to empty the bin once during my half hour shredding session. Also l, there was no jamming at all and it is fairly quick. I also like that it cross- shreds.

Great shredder! Handled everything I threw into it with ease, including staples. The bin holds quite a bit of shredded paper and is easy to empty as well.

This is a great item. It fits great where i put this item. Cuts up the all the items i put int it. Is so easy to empty.

Don’t sleep on this because its a Best Buy brand. Its the best Shredder I have owned that is this good on price. Its not cheap but not expensive! Shreds paper and credit cards with ease and then clears out the blades automatically. Great purchase!

This shredder is actually fun to use and just chews up paper in no time. The printing for how long you can use it is small on the shredder itself, so read the instructions if it's too small for you! (I can't remember the recommendation at the moment) I love that it confetti shreds instead of strips and instead of thin blades it uses teeth on cogs/gears. I get the feeling this one will last me MUCH longer than previous strip shredders!

Love this little paper shredder. The ability to input multiple pages and cards has made this process a breeze. The first time using it I had a lot of shredding and it did overheat once; since then I have had significantly less papers to shred in one shot, and haven't had any overheating. Easy to use and simple set up. Highly recommend.

A definite upgrade from my previous shredder. It is a lot quieter, cuts more sheets, and dont have to remove staples. It gets the job done.

Easy to use, large capacity bin makes emptying less necessary. Shreds paper with ease. 10-sheet capacity is handy to make shredding process shorter. Happy with this shredder.

We are pleased with our new Shredder. The widest that you can insert is 8.5" but that is ok. It works great, is really quiet and shreds credit cards really well too.

This is the best shreddeer Ive bought. It is quiet, never jams, shreds credit cards, stapled papers, and is very quick. This "crosscut"model is the best ever. Thank you.

This shedder is perfect for small office or home use. Doesn't jam, handles multiple pages at a time. I haven't had it overheat at all.

The Cross Cut Shredder is a Great Value! We have started to use straight out of the box! Very simple & easy to use. There is no jamming. Always good to take out staples for device damage prevention! Very tempted to get another to help with paper cleanup!

Powers through a few pages and is relatively quiet. Compact design with good size receptacle.

This is the second one of these I have purchased (we gave away our old one when we moved across the country, to my knowledge it's still working). It's easy to use, to clean out, and it hardly takes any time for me to shred stacks of junk mail! Highly recommend if you're lioking for a small, efficient household shredder.

Great little shredder for my home office. It's compact and much quieter than another shredder I had that no longer works. So far it works well for paper and credit cards. The only thing I would change is to maybe add a handle or grip area on the sides for easier handling.

Pleasent surprise…its on the smaller side but it definitely shredds with ease and not as loud as my last one…recently put it to the test and shredded alot contiuesly for about 45 minutes and it didn’t overheat…happy with the purchase so far

Works as advertised. Put the paper in and it shreds it. Also shreds cards

This shredder is a good size for a small home office. The shreds are so small and totally shred documents, it also does a good job on credit cards. I would buy it again. Only downside is that it is somewhat heavy.

I bought the Insignia 10-sheet cross-cut paper shredder because I needed to shred 30+years of documents, credit cards, and other sensitive paper items. I’d never owned nor bought a paper shredder, so I was nervous about choosing the right one . This paper shredder was and is the right purchase! I’ve already used it at least six times, each time for at least two hours at a time, and it worked so well! The few times when it got jammed due to me putting in something too thick, all I had to do was push the “reverse” button and the item came back out and the shredder went on working. I hope stays working as well as it did this past month, because it made my life so much easier.

We bought this to replace another one and it works great. Much quieter than our other one also:-)
