Best shredder ever! I can shred at least 10 pages at a time and it does not overheat. Last one I bought didn’t last long and the motor died. This one holds up well.

This is a great little shredder. I’ve had it for over a month now, and have been putting it to work daily. Cuts up papers like my old and bigger shredder. Cuts up credit cards too. Hopefully it last as long as my old shredder did.

A product must meet my highest expectations to receive a review from me. The Insignia - 10 Sheet Crosscut Paper/CD Shredder - Black meets those expectations. Its design is simple but pleasing. The hidden handle provides a thoughtful solution to lifting the heavy top when emptying the shredder. Crosscut cutting totally eliminates any worry of information theft. This shredder definitely meets my expectations!

Shredder works great. It’s easy to set up and use. It’s quiet and shreds paper and cd excellent. Credit cards as well. I highly recommend this.

For the price it's a great deal. My old one was loud, old and shredded maybe 4 pages at a time. But this shredder does 10 sheets at once, in smaller pieces. Very quiet, too. I love it!

Wow, just wow. I finally killed my old shredder that was 15 years old. This is MUCH better, faster, and crosscut. It makes confetti out of credit cards. I still only shred 1-2 pages at a time to baby the motor, but it is so much fun now i'm looking around my house for more to shred!

The shredder is a great size for a home office and even shreds through several sheets at a time. It's well worth the price. It's clear see through panel lets you know when it's reaching capacity. Furthermore, it's easy to dump when it's full.

Have used it for a couple of weeks and it is the best shredder that I have used. The unit is quiet and does not overheat as all of the previous models that I have had. I highly recommend it.

Compact size is great. The shredder is relatively quiet and does a thorough job shredding up to 6 pieces of paper without jamming.

I bought this shredder so I can shread folders of bank statements, medical bills and records... etc from my parents house, some going back decades! I keep getting asked why I don't take it all to a shredding company, but I have to go through every folder and look to see if it's important still and needs to be kept. My mom kept everything! Some days I've used the shredder several hours and it has no problems.

Really solid unit! Efficient paper shredding, hard to bog down, very fast, and very sturdy. Easy to empty and hard to overheat! (I work in an insurance office and we have to shred a LOT of paper. This has held up to the challenge so far!)

This is one of the best shredder that I have owned for the price.
