After a lot of research I decided to purchase this Insignia shredder for my small business. The cuts are very small, which I always worry about. Shred speed is good and quieter than some shredders I have used. It also has a CD slot.

Great s shredder ! Purchased this to replace my old one and this one is faster and less noisy than the other one. Very easy to use and shreds paper into very small pieces. Very happy with my purchase

This is a good shredder, quiet compared to my older one. At first I didn't expect it to do 10 sheets of paper due to the way it sounded but it did. The shredded pieces are very small and would be impossible for someone to put back together to get your information.

I have not had this unit for terribly long (approx. 4 weeks) and have yet to use it for any plastic items, so I can't speak to those capabilities, but it has worked great for the paper I have needed to shred. The microcutting ability of this unit has exceeded other compact shredders I have seen and/or utilized and the integrated capture bin is more than adequately sized for home office use. Overall, I'm definitely happy with its features and the service it has provided. That said, the few "cons" I have noticed, although by no means detrimental, or horribly inconvenient, include the following: 1. Emptying the contents of the bin into a smaller bag can be a bit tricky, due to the height of the front panel. Thus, if the bag is not adequately placed around the remaining edges, you'll probably end up with some degree of paper on the floor. 2. If you plan to utilize the unit on carpet, but without the wheels, you'll likely have to tip the unit back in order to get the bin out of the unit, and then, back into the unit, as the bottom of the bin's front edge is not raised from the base. In other words, it will probably catch on the carpet (without tipping it) and if you try too forcefully to pull the bin out, or put it back in, you may end up damaging it. 3. I have not run into any overheating issues, as some have mentioned, but the unit can be a touch noisy, particularly in a smaller space. I'd say most shredders are, but since I'd also say that this is not the fastest shredder (by no means the slowest, though), some may also find the noise a bit prolonged, which may contribute to that factor.

i needed a new shredder this one is works great and fast. easy to use loud i like that is shreds the paper into pieces so small no one will be able to steal your information

This shredder shreds papers and cards so no one can glue them back together. It is not too loud either. The pull out drawer is so easy to take out to empty and easy to put back. I haven't had any issues with it at all and I use it a whole bunch.

I like this shredder im just not a fan of the overheating.... but I guess all shredders over heat after constant shredding... shredded about 3 full bags of junk mail before it over heated. It takes about 50 mins to cool and then you can go to town once again... other than that pretty good shredder.

I had piles of paper to shred and this made shredding them quick and easy. I can shred cards as well as CDs. I rarely had a jam as long as I keep it at 10sheets and I dont do continuous shredding so I havent experienced any overheating

I love this shredder. I put it to work as soon as I received it and it’s the perfect size and does a great job of shredding. From the other reviews, I read before I bought this is does last several years.

I absolutely love this shredder! At first, I was a little nervous about the quality of this thing. I use this shredder everyday for the past year. Mainly for unwanted mail. I also use the credit cards and CD’S opinion. You can’t go wrong. Trust me!

This is the best shredder for the price, it shreds everything and it would be impossible for anyone to piece back anything you shredded in this shredder and it's easy to empty and rolls anywhere, just overall great product for what it does.

After months of working from home and the continued cancellation of free shredding events near my house, I collected mounts of confidential documents and I couldn't take the clutter any longer. The reviews on this product were promising but I was skeptical because of my experience with multiple (smaller) shredders I purchased in the past. So I waited for this one to go on sale and I couldn't be happier. The product arrived and I started shredding, and shredding... and shredding. The performance of the unit exceeded my expectations and only required cool down a few times before the job was done. This product is worth the price, even if not on sale. FYI- I paid $80 for it as a hot buy, if you see this deal again, don't wait.

Excellent in all ways if you get it on sale. Otherwise wait for the sale. It is the best shredder I've ever used. It is relatively light weight. It produces less noise than any shedder I have used, The bin design is easy to use. It works especially well if you place it on a table/desk.

This works very well. You can put 10 sheets at a time with stapes in it. We have shredded several boxes of documents with very little jamming. It does heat up and you need to turn it off for a bit to cool down. Much better then any shredder that we have used. Has a nice bucket that you can dump in the trash too.

This is the first shredder I purchased that didn't jam after several uses. I enjoyed using it. Does shred 10 pieces of paper but i preferred doing 6 at a time. I was able to shred 3 big bags in no time. Downfall is it makes too much noise. Otherwise a great product.

Great size. Great value for the price. Is the easiest way to guard security and not throwing personal information in the garbage. Easy to use and clean. Is an everyday tool when going through the mail

Nice and compact. Fits perfectly under the printer stand. This shredder meets out shredding needs. We do not use this daily or for more than 10 sheets at a time. The noise level is below average to average. I really like how small the microcut shreds are. Hope this helps.

The shredder has performed as expected. It is quite and the end results are small and meet my goal of having limited access from potential unwanted usage of my records.

This shredder does a good job. It hasn't overheated, and shreds items to a good quality. It's simple to empty and not bad looking overall.
